Luna: So…. We’re all just the same stick from different universes…?
*group agreement and nodding*
LB!Luna: Yes, pretty much. As far as I’m aware no one that’s not a different us has shown up.
V!Luna: It’s very disappointing, I hoped after showing up here to have had a little more entertainment. Instead I’m stuck with a bunch of lackluster versions of me.
Luna: Uh huh…. So you work at rocket corp and are alive?
LB!Luna: Yes.
Luna: You Also work at rocket corp yet you have no memory past showing up near stick city.
BFA!Luna: Yep!
Luna: And you’re a… you honestly just seem to be a version that’s with the void.
V!Luna: But I’m much better and I get to play by my own rules.. for the most part.
Luna:…. Mhm… and who is the one with the spear all the way over there?
LB!Luna: We’re not exactly sure what her deal is.
SoL!Luna: *glares*
Luna:…. Well at least this time we finally got to finish intro- *vanishes*
LB!Luna: *frustrated grumbling* and once again the only other sane stick who has vanished… again!
BFA!Luna: I’m sane!
LB!Luna: you haven’t a clue of who you even are! You don’t count.
In the void, she strolled without care, which was quite common for her. After all, what could she have to fear here now? There wasn’t anything she had to worry about attacking her, not anymore.
She was tethered to this place; she was the only means of their escape.
Walking around almost felt… boring. There was nothing to see, she couldn’t feel the ‘ground’ beneath her feet; every step only took her one stride closer to the next shadow and whatever was hidden within its depths.
Though she had taken… a ‘Friend,’ it was more of something she merely kept around. Though… an old piece of her did care, and she hated that.
A piece that wasn’t completely choked out from the shadow, like a flicker of hope and belief, or maybe it was just foolish preservation.
It wasn’t something to worry about; she knew better. She was different now… those old ideals of care left to be drowned by the shadows that grappled her code and took over.
She just felt… anger. She had been left, she had done so much only to be toyed with, she had fought so long… she had once cared for so long.
She just wanted to have some control. She knew she lacked that in her own code now, but that was better this way. Now she just wanted to show what she could do, that she had strength that would tare down a foe, that she knew better.
She knew the old hopes for freedom and a carefree time were false. Those were just things meant to distract from all the dark that happened around it, from what was meant as doom.
They were nothing but toys, nothing but beings made by someone who had been bored. The sticks were all just one big group that had never seen that truth. That only made their hopes more fun to pick at.
She couldn’t quite leave, but she could still ‘help’ others through the shadows she could enter. Small deals that helped sticks achieve what they wished; of course, it was at a cost.
They never knew who she was; her real name and face always stayed in the dark, and not many dared to tell anyone. Those that had…. Had been warned.
Her time in the dark wasn’t pleasing to her though; she much preferred the feel of starlight.
Light was one thing she did sort of feel, and each was different; she only chose an absence of light due to the wants of those who had tethered her. The shadows of the void, she wasn’t quite sure what they were, only that they had always been there for what she had seen.
She sometimes wondered if choices she made now would be understood by who she used to be… the flicker normally made it clear this was a no, so it was dealt with when needed. She didn’t care about it anyway.
Things were complicated, feelings meshed of old and new. She was not the same, even though it hadn’t really been a choice; she was different, and she didn’t care…. At least not much… a small part just felt….. empty.
So now she would walk and wait, maybe her new ‘Friend’ she’d stuck here would show; it didn’t know she’d done this, but how else was she to have it around.
Not that she cared…. Because she couldn’t fully care… never again. That’s just how she was now, only faint spurts of time did she truly seem docile and cared openly. That was only when the restraints on her code could relax. That only happened because she was sure, nothing bad could happen, that she was in control and history would not repeat.
