At first Ellie didn’t do much. She just let the action seep in for a moment. How long had it actually been since she’d had any positive physical contact? She hadn’t even bothered to start trekking back to town for at least a few months after she’d checked their old home. It took a lot just to do that much.
Slowly, one arm lifts up and loosely loops around the other girl, resting on her back. She was unsure of herself for sure, she didn’t deserve any forgiveness---she knew that. She’d fucked up. She couldn’t even forgive herself. She’d become a monster
