My Power?Feels.He’d always been good with people. His habit of speaking his mind at inopportune moments does get him in trouble. He was born in Elstree a place a few miles from London, but grew up in the larger city. He is an empath. He has the ability to sense, interpret the emotions and feelings of others and the emotional residue left on objects. He can also manipulate them. Off-shoots of this power are: 1)telempathy, the ability to send his own emotions to others 2) pain manipulation, the ability to manipulate levels of pain. This means he can relieve or heighten feeling physical or emotional pain.3) Persuasion, but this power is limited to spoken commands. How He Discovered His Powers: Angie, the girl he fancied for ages, changed her mind about just being friends.She broke up with her boyfriend and confessed her feelings to Lee. After a couple of days, he was curious and asked why. She wasn’t able to give any reason beyond “when I’m with you, it feels right.” Something was off. And he could tell she was just as confused even if her words were sincere. On a hunch,he called her when she was at home and asked a simple question: "How do you feel towards me right now?Be honest.Do you love me?“ "No.”
"You should talk to your ex and work it out.” The next day, Angie’s ex confronted him and said it wasn’t fair for him to toy with her heart, then, completely avoid her. The Ex’s fury and Lee’s own jealousy and indignation that he would hurt Angie on purpose and a single,childish thought— I want you to hurt—dropped the Ex to the floor in agony.
He didn’t know how or why, but somehow he had made it happen.Horrified, Lee fled. If he ran far enough, that would break the connection, wouldn’t it? Weaknesses:
Distance weakens the strength of his powers.
His own emotional state can affect his ability to block other’s emotions from overwhelming him or vice versa.
Other’s high emotional states or feelings of physical pain can affect him.If his powers are blocked by say, a telepath it’s surreal for him and makes him feel lonely because that sense of connectedness with other people is cut off.It’s not a good idea to get him drunk.Sure, he’s usually a happy drunk and at a certain point everyone will have a sense of euphoria, but do you want to deal with him unintentionally projecting his nausea and regret in the morning? Probably not.
The effectiveness of his spoken persuasion is affected by how much people like him so his knack for being honest even if it’s not popular is actually in some cases trying to protect people from him.
He has to make sure he isn’t making people do things. His being annoying on purpose? If you’re angry with him, but stick around it means you actually like him. And on the flipside, Lee needs to be precise with words.He’d be overly polite when he’s upset: He avoids ‘Go jump in a lake’ and other phrases like ‘shut up.’ 'Please stay’ is a request. 'Stay’ is a command. The last thing he wants is to be a silencer, a harmer, or a bully. Lee fears someone using his voice or taking advantage of his powers. Lee still loves to write because the written word takes work. If he wants to persuade someone, his arguments have to have merit.

Lee pranking people because in his words, "My powers are rubbish and boring. You can levitate people. You can make energy blasts. I can't use mine for anything useful without being an arse whose manipulating people. Or unintentionally an arse 'cause I can't always control the thing."
