 Having Ephemera around made Akari uneasy to say the least.Every time he stopped by for a visit, she dropped her other works and swapped to the romance story the public loved. After hearing that he liked the works she published under her pen name, she had been nothing but cautious around him due to his nosy nature.

 However, she had promised to get this new chapter out by tonight, and she was going to get it out nosy delivery boy or not. Just when she had finally fained her momentum again, he suddenly kissed her and took the manuscript from her hands. A shriek and a punch were direct at Ephemera, causing Akari to topple right out of her chair. Her eyes widened in horror as she noticed him looking down at the manuscript. “Don’t you dare read that!”

Real quick Thing:

Akari has a pen name that she writes some other literature under. Her main romance series that she’s famous for is under her real name, but things like fanfiction and some other *cough*literature*cough* is written under the name Karu Lee. Unless she tells you, you probably can’t tell Akari and Karu are the same person. Hence why Akari is sometimes secretive with her work.

The Lee part is to honor dear Mod Edea’s character Edea, aka Birdy who’s really important for Akari in normal verse, and so the relationship lives on. Karu came from a shortened version of Hikaru, a name that has a similar meaning to Akari.

News of a traveling merchant was rare to say the least, especially to Akari since she bought most of her goods online now. Still, there was something about this mysterious traveling merchant that enticed her curiosity. That’s how she ended up there, plundering through the merchants wares looking for nothing in particular.

Currently she was staring at his collection of clothes, eyeing a hat that would probably look adorable on Slimey. Would it even fit the tiny robot? Akari reached out to grab the hat so she could compare it to Slimey’s head when the price caught her eye. An audible gulp came from the female as her eyes widened at the price. Akari would bet her own shoes that she could find a similar item online for much cheaper. “Hey mister, are you sure you’re not just trying to rip people off?” The question was loudly directed at the merchant while Akari stared him down.
