No matter the length of time Zacharie spent staring at him, Vincent didn’t look way, patiently awaiting an answer before the serious response had the beginnings of a grin growing on his lips. He tried to sober his expression, feigning great disappointment. “Ah, a shame. Who knows, it could have been a big hit.”

Vincent was never one to get embarrassed, but he could feel a slight inkling of the emotion as he received responses at last. It seemed as if Daesung was fine, which was a relief - something he could willingly admit considering the other man held his interest so well. His own texts almost seemed pathetic now, but he decided to brush that thought aside and hopefully distract from it with his next series of messages.

Vincent could be nosy - and maybe that was putting it lightly with how invasive and blunt he could be - and his present situation was no different. With one arm outstretched across the back of the bench they sat on, he raised his other hand to wave it almost dismissively. “Don’t hold back if you need to cough or you’ll end up choking,” he drawled casually, a grin stretching across his lips. “I’d say it’s the weather if I didn’t know any better. Spring and all the lovely allergies it aggravates.”

“I’m glad I didn’t miss it. You must be, too, right?” It was as much of a joke in appearance as it was a statement that he had utmost belief in. He smiled against Baekhyun’s skin, lips pressing a kiss behind his ear before he spoke again. “Do you have anything planned?” An innocent question, spoken low and only for him to hear even though they were very much alone, and Vincent’s palms slid back until they could hold his companion’s hips while he awaited an answer.
Vincent and Nothing didn’t really run with the same crowds - did either of them really have one to begin with? - but coincidence seemed to like having them figuratively bump into each other unplanned while they were both out enjoying themselves. He’d been hanging around a group he sometimes went out with, having met up at the club they frequented, and things were just starting to pick up as the hours grew later when he noticed a familiar face.
At first, Vincent only watched from the corner of his eye, wondering if Nothing had company of his own, but eventually he excused himself, pecking the cheek of the girl who hung off his arm as an apology to her - he didn’t even remember her name, that was how dearly sorry he was - before heading off to catch the other man. Had he even noticed that he was there? That didn’t matter, he decided, reaching out to brush Nothing’s arm and get his attention.

— Had Sungmin been the one conscious, the touch would have made him jump, startle, possible even voice his surprise, but, instead, it was Vincent, and his only response at first was to turn with a carefully raised brow toward the stranger. It took him a moment, recycling through Sungmin's memories to see whether or not they knew each other already, and to his relief they didn't. There wasn't any need to try to act like his counterpart, the realization of that appearing in the form of a slow grin that stretched across his lips.
"Me? Pretty? Ah, how fortunate that my little admirer knows how to flatter." He leaned forward slightly, seeming to not care about personal space as he did so, tilting his head as if he was pondering while his gaze fell along the other male's form. "I suppose that makes us a matching pair, hm?"
