So… I overheard some of those guys say the malfunction will most likely shut down my brain trying to draw from..what was it...power pulses? The kind your brain has or something? But they want to salvage what they can as soon as possible before they're completely shot and that's that. I didn’t think it was that bad really, but they would know it better, right? That's what Toue hires them for anyways. Thought you should at least know that. In that case, it’s up to you to take care of Sei and watch out for Aoba now. Actually... That makes me a little jealous, you having them all to yourself like that hehe. But whatever, I'll miss them enough. Hearing it out loud wasn't a surprise. He'd suspected, from the moment he'd seen his little shadow in the hospital, that he'd pull through. Iron will knows its own. 

But that obviously was not the case for Virus, his cold, thin fingers curled around the back of Mink's skull, the kiss so much deeper than he'd intended, caught up in a moment of exuberance and relief. He tasted like alcohol and acid on teeth ground during snatches of sleep at Sei's bedside. 

He shouted into Virus' mouth, and when that barely broke the kiss, Mink's fist slammed into the blond's jaw, clacking his teeth together with enough force to leave his ears ringing.
