he's a third year , 18 yrs old , and co captain of the archery team . he lives in tatsumi port island with his little sister , sakura ( who's a first year ) , and tries to support her while trying to stay near the top of his class and train to become an olympian . ryoma and hinoka pay for the place they stay in ( rent , utilities , ect. ) , will give them money for food & an allowance for extra spare stuff . takumi supports her by trying to cook , keep the place clean , and emotionally support her since ryoma nad hinoka cannot .
mikoto , ikona , and sumeragi are already dead — ikona died of natural causes while mikoto and sumeragi were murdered ( assumed homicide / perhaps killed by strega ) . although he didn't get to witness their death , he did see their dead bodies and that was incredibly traumatizing . because of their deaths he's vaguely aware of shadows / the dark hour ; he doesn't know of the s.e.e.s. team or everything that goes into it .
he's friends with oboro and hinata — both attend gekkoukan high as well . he always eats lunch w/ them , hangs out w/ them when he's not training or spending time with sakura , and what not . the trio is still going strong in this verse . kind of tying into this , takumi likes to go to the movies with them ( + sakura ) , and loves going to the beach during summer vacation . he also goes to the shrine with sakura when she wants to visit , and will take her to go see ryoma and hinoka when they have time .
though takumi is training to become an olympian , he still plans on going to university . he's still rather undecided on what career he'd like to pursue , but would chose something perhaps with history ? regarding wars / battles / strategies / ect. or would study government . help ryoma while he works in there ( after he's done w the olympics ) .
