She would never expect that a hero such as herself would end up dying in a field by a stray monster. It was a spit in the face, really, especially with her own child watching her as she fought to survive, the blood pushing out of her stomach with every feeble breathe she took. No, she didn’t want Lut to be watching her like this, faltering and falling and dying.
Aqua didn’t want her child to remember her this way.
A soft choking sound, and shakily did the mother raise her hand to stroke the child’s soft cheek, a weak smile crossing her pale, pale lips.
“Shh...” she shushed him weakly. “E-Everything is going to be ok...its ok...”
The only two reasons she had to live...with one of them crouched over her.
“It’s going to be ok...”
