Aqua landed lightly on her feet onto the stone walkways of Traverse Town, blinking and squinting as she looked at her new surroundings. Her head swiveled around, and she hummed softly. The brick buildings and wooden accents made her smile slightly for a moment, at the homey little town that she was greeted with. A different sort of comfortable atmosphere than what she had grown accustomed to within Radiant Garden.
Yen Sid had explained Traverse Town's purpose -- appearing when inhabitants of a destroyed world needed a home, needed a sanctuary. Bitterly she had wondered if its arrival was due to the Land of Departure's destruction, but pushed that thought aside when she saw -- what Lea had called it -- Castle Oblivion in its place.
Oh great. Backstabbing murderers had been living in her house.
She shook her head and sighed, taking a few steps forward, her shoes clacking against the brick in a dull sound. Her orders were to go on recon in the world, checking to make sure that Heartless and other little monsters hadn't invaded. She sighed softly, brushing her hair out of her face.
It was rather exhausting. Everything was moving too fast, too quickly, and she struggled to keep up. She was getting left behind -- twelve years within the Realm of Darkness left her frazzled, confused, lost.
However she kept moving. She had people to bring home, safe and sound.
Aqua paused, noting a shadow moving across the pathway and up the stairs, moving rather quickly. A few others joined it, disappearing out of her vision farther up ahead. Giving a grunt, she summoned Master's Keeper, moving quickly to follow them.
So those were heartless.
A woman up ahead in their line of movement caught her attention, and she blinked, giving a cry of alarm.
