Escaping was not an easy task. Though she had created a big enough diversion to hop on an escape pod, it wouldn’t be enough. She managed to trick the ship’s sensors to temporarily believe that the pod was still attatched and unused. It wouldn’t hold them off forever, but it would have to do. Crashing into an unknown planet’s atmosphere was the least of her problems. However, she wouldn’t be volunteering to do so ever again.
Her feet touched ground in a lush forest and knowing time was not on her side, she needed to get as far from the pod as possible. She started to run, following her instincts into the city, just barely avoiding contact with scavangers who were on their way to look for the parachuted escape pod. She pulled up her hood and walked through the market, she needed to get off this rock.
