One of the admins mentioned some time ago about having 5 single-hit medals and 5 multiple-hit medals for each magic/speed/power. And that'd be more than enough for your medal collection. I was just wondering what those medals were? I'm just having a hard time judging what medals are worth keeping and wanted to compare it to your collection if that's ok with you. (Also I've been in the opposite position for the medal draws...I want Axel and Roxas but I keep getting Xemnas-es T_T)

Oh geez, that’s really up to opinion. For some general advice…

Medals after #338 are probably best. This is when most raise draw medals shifted from tier 2 guilt to tier 3 guilt. 

Medals you have guilted are best. A guilted friendship medal will be better than a no-dotted raise draw medal.

Premium medals are virtually always better than non-premium. If this doesn’t seem to be the case, look carefully at its effects. (IE: Luxord is stronger than Roxas SP on surface. But Luxord requires Paralyze and Roxas SP gives himself a M Atk+.)

Throw a booster in your first slot, it helps~.

Type Attack Up 1 medals: S White Rabbit, P Phil, M Aerith

General Attack Up 1 medals: DiZ, Speed Aerith, Vivi

Type Attack Up 2 medals (the best): S Kairi (KH2), M Cogsworth

Some specific use medals to hold on to (order of preference):

Type-ignoring (for RB): Mickey BC, Jack Skellington, or Xigbar

Removes buffs (for high level enemies): Belle or Alice

Copies enemy buffs (for story bosses): Namine

Set Damage (for bombs/eggs): TR Mickey, Yuffie #323, or Beast

Curaga (for healing): Minnie #291

I’ll list out 4 top picks from both (as your 5th will probably be a boost medal). These are my recommended, non-Premium medals, no-setup medals. There are more powerful alternatives if you want to set them up, but look up those on your own time. These picks are based on a 6-star with average guilt. I made some attempt to balance light/dark and high cost/low cost.

Weird question but how do you have enough jewels to draw so many times?? I can only manage to do the 3000 every week and a half or so.

Me, personally? I’ve been literally saving jewels since day one, I had about 51k jewels to spend. I’m picky about stuff, so I wasn’t going to spend jewels until Norts came around. Before today I’d only done like... 4 draws total and only had 60 deck capacity. After today I’ve done 14 draws and have 125 deck capacity. (I’m BROKE. So I say at 23k Jewels.)

There’s been ~20 weeks, which would put you at about 60k jewels if what you say is correct. So I’d say that’s a pretty good estimate. ;D I think there’s been the ability to get about 75k jewels in the game thus far, including all the maintenance apologies and landmarks and the like.

Im having trouble with the Foreteller battle. I'll attack her with everything I've got but with no luck, is there like any real way to beat her?

NOTE: This guide is for JPUX, but is applicable to NAUX

YEAH… sorta… most people take several continues at release.

This strategy will not help you kill her in 3 turns, but it will help you survive. If you want to keep track, she has ~300k HP before she’s defeated, which is roughly 15 HP bars of damage. She stops the fight part-way through the third HP bar, giving her 18-19 bars total. Namine is a necessity to consistently survive the third hit, as the game stands in January. Summary: Namine, Alice, Healing, Light Attack, Dark Attack. (Lengthy, so below the cut.)

Alice can remove her buffs, mainly the x3 defense buff; she seems to apply buffs before she attacks, so won’t really save you from her x2 attack and you will most likely die when she does that bull of x3 attack. Flip side, Namine can copy buffs, so I would suggest having Namine first, then Alice. You can get both of these from the draw this week. [JPUX]

You’ll also want a healing medal, I would suggest Snow White (as she’s a Speed type who heals a lot) or Minnie if you have her. Don’t go for less than that, Jiminy probably won’t keep your butt alive. (Any “cures a moderate amount”.)

For actual attacks, choose one of these three (in order of preference), depending on what you have: Yuffie Illustration (low AP cost/event medal so easy to have max&guilt), DDD Sora (high AP cost but event medal so easy to have max), or Stitch (low AP cost/friendship medal so easy to have max&guilt). You can use any other strong Speed medal, but these are the three most readily available. Master Sora (#271) has the same multiplier as Stitch and KH2 Riku (#136) is comparable to DDD Sora. 

If you have Lady Luck at level 21+, you’ll also have a dark slot: I’d suggest Marluxia or Sephiroth. Larxene & Evil Queen aren’t worth it; Sephiroth wouldn’t be worth it if not for the fact only 3-dotted versions of him exist. If you don’t have either of these medals, or don’t have Lady Luck to level 21+, then use a second of one of the previously mentioned medals.

As far as placement goes, starting with the top and going clockwise, I’d suggest one of two rotations:

Namine, Alice, Healing, Light/Weak Light, Dark/Strong Light

Namine, Light/Weak Light, Alice, Healing, Dark/Strong Light

The former allows you to do more damage on turns she has defense up (as it removes it before doing damage), while the latter allows you to do more damage on turns she has attack up (as the 2nd slot has a strong multiplier). I’m honestly not sure which is more effective, as I’m not sure how much damage x3 e-defense prevents. If you’re using a dark medal, I’d suggest the second arrangement. 

I hope this very long guide to an enemy I haven’t even beaten yet helps, ahah… a few last tips:

Once More will save your toosh if it activates. Aladdin from the Christmas draw had it, so you can use him as your weaker medal. This week’s draw has a chance of having it.

Many of you may still need 1-2 continues, even with this strategy; I’d suggest resisting until the next story is released, just keep trying! If you do use a continue, make sure you feel you’re doing worthwhile damage before bothering.

Vulpes drops a lot of AP orbs, so don’t worry tooooo much about having enough AP to go on. Always be sure to save at least 5 AP, though; Alice & Healing are priority.

Namine is love. Namine is life. You can survive her x3 attack with an x3 defense.

You don’t have to quite beat Vulpes, just get her down to 3-ish HP bars. Currently no one really knows how much HP she actually has. A lot. 

Try to keep your attack medals total ability points used to 5 or less; preferably 3-4 if possible. IE: Don’t combine Marluxia and DDD Sora, those 7 AP points is a bit too high to sustain.

There’s a +5 AP chest at the start of the mission, so don’t sweat having max AP upon arrival

No idea how well status effects work on her, yet. I’ve not had any successfully stick. Typically, for enemies like this, poison works well, though. No status effects seem to stick.

Due to her defense, your attacks will do about 20% the listed damage. That is, divide your theoretical damage by 5 to determine the actual damage output.

Other user suggestions:

khinsider’s faemarch used a setup that heavily relied on Marluxia and a level 22 Lady Luck; but it didn’t need Alice or Once More. The rotation is Namine / (Any 6-star with Defense Up) / Minnie / KH2Riku / Marluxia. Use Namine to copy the defense buff, heal with Minnie, use Riku & Marluxia’s abilities. If you’re lucky enough to have these medals and have focused on Lady Luck, then it’ll work–the boost skyrocket at this point. But there’s really no valid substitutions, except perhaps replacing KH2Riku with an equivalent. This is an average of 9 AP/turn, with a listed 50000 Attack.

khinsider’s Danilo Fernando used a setup that managed to 3-turn Lady Ava, but it requires many maxed out and guilted medals and a lot of luck for all the AUM(Attack Up M) to activate. Alice / Vivi (abiliy points up) / Pooh (Once More) /  DDDSora (AUM, max&guilt) / Sephiroth (AUM, max&guilt) / partner Marluxia (AUM, max&guilt).
