Guns, Gore & Cannoli v1.2.8
Newest Digimon Soul Chaser update nerfed some digimon. My Veggiemon isn’t wrecking ‘em up like he used to :(
The Studio In Action
Just to let you know we've opened The Studio and are now allowing members to create models and save them in the system. You can import your models (or those of others which are Free To Use) by clicking on the 'Import Model' button on the 'Metadata' tab when creating objects.
At the moment only Culture objects can have models so you won't see the button unless you're designing a Culture. :)
More news on the way about Clusters & Scenarios coming from The Studio, which will make creating content far simpler (grouped creation instead of individual).
It's Been A While
Wow, it certainly has been a while since our last blog post and a lot has changed at TeriYeri. Yesterday we released v1.2.7 of our engine and updated our production site to use it. So far everything has been running smoothly. :)
v1.2.7 has brought about a few significant changes to the system most notably perhaps is the upgrade to the interactive mapping system. Things have become a lot clearer than they were before and you can now load up a whole host of data into the map at the same time, which before you couldn't.
Another notable change is our use of proper URLs. That's right you can now get directly to a page using the good ol' address bar. Refreshing the page also works as expected now.
What's Coming In 1.2.8?
Well there are a few expansions to currently working systems, especially the events system. We'll be making the adding/editing of events a little more user-friendly. You'll be able to get real-time feedback about the data you're planning to save and what it will do to your world. This should reduce the somewhat benign timing issues where a time is required, but you honestly have no idea what time to put in.
The biggest update in 1.2.8 will of course be the revamp of The Studio. That's right, you'll be able to save models (amongst other things) in The Studio and import them into your worlds as and when you need them. No more creating Cultures from scratch every time, just import the Norse, Roman, Greek or Egyptian model if you like or a custom one designed by you or another TeriYeri member.
Data-creation is going to get a lot easier. :)
Stay tuned for more.
