AS is pretty nice to talk to. Though honestly, I can’t blame them for noping out to IB’s planet. It seems like most people on Starter are three fries shy of a Happy Meal… or in FL’s case, the three fries are the only thing in the box to begin with :P
We wound up somehow releasing some chick that we thought was cool at first. We were so terribly wrong. You'd think we'd wind up leaving when we reached the freaky room with all the different god tier rags pinned on the walls. But noooo, we didn't. Instead, we stupidly and foolishly unleashed a force that shouldn't have ever been unsealed.
An interesting thing though: when FL tried to prevent us from doing the absolute worst thing possible via trollian timeline dooming, it didn't work. Earlier he mentioned that it may have been fate that we went down there. Maybe we were twistedly supposed to screw up as bad as we did. Then again, timeline shenanigans isn't his job, it's supposed to be my job.
But despite how we should be locked in space baby jail for letting someone out who wants to break the cycle for good, there is a slight silver lining: she's not invincible. She can be harmed. She can bleed. And even that alone means we potentially have a fighting chance against her.
I just hope that the next time she's found, we're prepared enough to face her again...
I wonder how many more people I'll let down due to my stupid actions and even worse inaction. All I seem to be doing lately is cause other pain and scorn. Should I even be around here?
Not only do I have FL voicing death threats if I do any time shenanigans, but I let down one of my old friends so many times that she's resigned herself to "endless despair" and now hates everyone. Also, because I was being a complete idiot and didn't do the BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS AND LOGICAL THING and PM someone instead of just stupidly typing a timid message on the memo that nobody cares about, I'm worried about a lot more than just myself here. I angered the Muse and now more lives may be in danger. And it's all because I did nothing helpful.
Contrary to popular belief, this isn't the first time something horrible has happened due to lack of action on my part. The tea party, the chaos dunk incident, that one time on the Land of Wood and Some other thing I can't remember (LoWaSoticr), that time Marsh got shanked by Loki, and plenty of other times. Maybe if I just wasn't around anymore, I wouldn't cause so many people to hate me due to hurting others to the point of causing more pain in pursuit of justified revenge against me.
Maybe this is the real reason why Ben went missing. Perhaps he just couldn't stand being around anyone here anymore. Too afraid to say anything without the village going after him. Maybe I scared him off somehow? Me and my whinyness in that castle while simply being there out of sheer habit. I'm not even doing well enough with raising his spidergrandson.
I'm nothing compared to him when it comes to parenting. Sure, I go through the motions just fine, but I've been doing so more out of duty than legit affectionate care. My brother? He practically takes care of himself nowadays. If I were his only guardian back on old Earth, I'd probably be labeled a horrible guardian and he'd probably be taken away to a foster home with me locked in jail for not being good enough (especially considering how much he threatens to call the police on me).
The point is, I think it would be better if I left the group. They'd probably like it better that way. They wouldn't have to worry about me getting in the way or anything, and they'd be just fine. Sure, Charles would still be spiraling deeper into insanity and Kat would still hold a deep-seated grudge with everyone, but other than that, I'm sure the remaining ones in the group would be alright, if not better without my presence.

I found out that apparently the Lunar Whale is currently missing for some reason. artfulDeviant mentioned it over the memo and I haven't really gotten a chance to check it out yet.
Some people think Ben might have taken it into space by himself, but I'm not sure if that makes any sense. Like, why would he do that exactly, and leave his spidergrandson behind? and without telling anyone? Why would he bail out on his best friends at the moment when we needed each other the most?
Honestly, I'm just worried about him, wherever he is. Does anyone else think we should try and look for him and the Lunar Whale out in space? It couldn't have gone too far without a warp drive, could it?
Of course, there's also the chance that space bandits took it, but I'd think they would have shown up on radar/ would have tried to steal a more visible ship than that. Then again, it's hard to tell what a space bandit may or may not be able to do.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Gambit...
Then again, this is all just speculation mostly.
In the meantime, I have Cody the consort spiderbaby to watch over. I've never really had that much experience with caring for spiders. I'm hoping with enough research I'll be able to do the right things and make sure he's alright.
