By this point, Loki had sobered up somewhat since his earlier antics. This tended to happen when Cap, Hulk, and Thor all decided they'd had enough with a drunken Loki getting in the way of their own fun. He had only just recovered from the ice water dunking he'd received (the wet more bothersome than the cold) and a brief time-out with the hammer, suitably dry again and helping himself to a packet of crisps.
Only to bump into Tony — accidentally this time — and be subject to a sudden poking.
Loki blinked and crunched one of the crisps, trying to decide if his feelings were hurt or if this was in fact highly amusing. He leant toward the latter.
Crisp packet vanishing to the ether, he considered the accusation.
"Would you like to be the new star?"
A smile like butter wouldn't melt, his fingers curled into the front of Tony's shirt and he lifted.

As if Christmas hadn't been enough, Tony still had to deal with the trickster during new years celebrations. At least this time the god didn't seem so drunk and unhinged like he had been a few days priors. Still, it was time for a little payback in his opinion.
The countdown had been done already, everybody congratulating everybody. It takes him a while until he spots a familiar figure among the crowd. Without hesitation he makes his way over to him. "Hey! Reindeer games!" Once he has the mans attention he simply grabs him by the lapels of his jacket and pulls him a little down, so he's able to give him a quick peck on his lips. "Happy New Years, you damn trickster."
Having been too wrapped up in the moment of cheering and avoiding overbearing noogies from his brother, Loki is taken completely off guard by Tony's gesture.
Somewhat breathless, he gets out, "And a Happy New Year to you, too, Stark."
