“Fuck me...Merlin, are you seeing this?” Unlike the trained but otherwise unstealthy security that threw themselves at the assassin like canon fodder to be disposed of in a heartbeat, Eggsy was hidden among the carnage, watching from afar after gaining entry to his objective’s base. Kingsman as a whole were surprised to find another already there and taking out marks, but the strength and brutality were impressive even by his standards.
“I see it, lad. Avoid them and proceed to the target, don’t get involved unless you have to.”
The voice of his handler, Merlin, was wise. Eggsy fought some major battles in his short time as an agent, but this stranger, this man wrecking his foes with bullets and bare hands would have been a challenge. There was a real possibility he could lose the fight, and with his target’s security distracted, it was in his best interest to stay away from the fray altogether. After another second of morbid admiration, the knight proceeded to what looked to be a panic room, and it was, of course, locked, secured just beyond the capabilities of his Kingsman watch. “Who the fuck was that guy?”
“I don’t know, I’m trying to identify him now.”
The watch beeped, displaying that the hack failed and Eggsy sighed deeply. “This ain’t working, how do I get in?” Meanwhile, the fight was getting closer, screams of falling enemies not far away. Duncan was approaching. “Any minute now, Merlin.”
