Trixie scanned over the notes of her next patient. She’d already read over the file in full so just reprised the main details - her 18 week scan, 3 weeks prior, had been her first and clearly an incredibly distressing one for the expectant mother. Having prepared for the appointment, she made her way through to the waiting-room before calling out her patient’s name.
“I’m Nurse Franklin,” she introduced herself once Allie approached, “Trixie.” Leading her into the room, Trixie offered a gentle smile and gestured towards the examination table. “Would you like to take a seat for me, sweetie?”
