Ok! It's been nearly two hours since I received my second dose of the covid vaccine (moderna). This time around my arm seems to hurt less which is odd but I won't complain! I've had no side effects so far, and I had nothing beside arm soreness with the first dose. I'll update if anything changes but so far so good!
So it has now been a full 48 hours since I got my first dose of the covid vaccine (moderna)
The arm I received the shot in is feeling much better today! Still a little, tiny bit odd feeling when I, for example, lift it above my head? But really only like an extremely minor discomfort as if I'd exercised a bit too much the day prior.
Have not had any other reactions/side effects, including anything stomach related and I have continued to eat as I normally would.
I have specifically avoided alcohol during this time (I always do before and after getting any vaccine, just as a personal preference to be careful) and I probably will for at least a week but this was not something that was advised to me by any medical personnel when I was vaccinated.
Again, this was just my first dose of the vaccine (moderna). I will update again if anything should crop up. Otherwise, I will update again once I have gotten the second dose just to share how that goes!
It has now officially been 24 hours since I got the covid vaccine.
My arm is still sore, but I’ve had no serious issues or complaints. I always get arm soreness when I get the flu shot, and this is a bit more sore, but nothing excruciating. (If I had to lift anything over 10 pounds over my head it would be uncomfortable, but I could endure. If I had to reenact The Lion King Scene w/Felix right now, I could.)
So if you’re someone who gets a sore arm from the flu vaccine keep in mind this may make you sore just like that shot!
I have had no headaches/chills/fever or skin reactions. I have also been eating like I normally would and have had no stomach issues! I would just like to add that I have very sensitive skin and am very prone to headaches so I was watching for these things!
OK! so I just received my first dose of the moderna covid vaccine.
I'm waiting in the 15 minute monitoring area
So far my arm is a *bit* sore where I got the injection. It stung a bit going in but other than that it was fine. Got a little sticker lol.
I may update this in the coming days with how everything goes so that any of my followers who are curious about the process have another place to find out what it's like???
