Vaggi had been leading some of the newer potential residents for the hotel through Pride into Pentagram. Not all of them seemed to be having the easiest time staying in a line, or even in a group for that matter. So she had to keep leaving the head of the line and guiding them back to the group. Some seemed drunk and a few might have just been wayward for that long.

"There's going to be food when we get there, I promise." A few seemed to buckle up and listen at that. But even more listened when she mentioned, "and booze," rolling her eye.

It was her turn to stop short when she saw a familiar face though. Or what she thought was a familiar face. It couldn't be. Her mind must have been tricking her. She froze and a few of the potentials bumped into her.

"Wh--" she gave an 'oof' before she thought it to herself. 'Lana?'

Then she blinked and tilted her head. She could see the other denizen had the darkened halo and wings. The hair she recognized. But it couldn't be.

"Oh, s-s-sorry. You just looked like someone I thought I knew."

Vaggi spun around when she heard Charlie. She had been about to run to her, but hearing the tone of her voice, she realized it was better to pace herself and walk slowly. She looked to the side and closed her eye.

"You know I care..." she panted. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell you I was going out there. It happened so fast."

Catching a glimpse of herself, ghost like in the window beside them, she could see even in the transcluent image, how badly the battle had battered her. And she could not blame Charlie for being as shaken as she was. It was mostly her left leg this time, bleeding badly but she could walk. She sat before she continued to explain.

"If I didn't act, they would've closed in on the hotel. And we both know Alastor doesn't do shit unless someone makes deals with him. I have nothing to give him right now. I'm sorry, Charlie. It was too short notice to get a hold of you, so I had to hold them off while the others called you."
