The moment she reached Vaggi, she dropped to her knees without a second thought, her eyes racing over her from head to toe in a frantic search for injuries. It didn't take long to find the cut on her leg. The golden blood made it impossible to miss.
"Vaggi! You're hurt!"
Her heart sank. Without hesitating, she tore a strip from her own sleeve and carefully wrapped it around the wound, pulling the fabric snug enough to slow the bleeding. She'd rushed after her so fast that she'd forgotten to grab anything that could actually help.
Once she was certain the bandage would hold for now, she threw her arms around Vaggi, hugging her tighter than she'd intended before quickly easing up.
"Oh, Vaggi... I was so scared."
She pulled back just enough to rest her hands on Vaggi's shoulders, looking her over again as if expecting to find another injury.
"It feels like every sinner has an angelic weapon now, and that's... that's really not good." She swallowed hard, guilt creeping into her expression. "And I'm sorry I yelled at you. I shouldn't have done that. I'm just... I'm really, really glad you're okay."
