Ugh, can we as a fandom not stand for shitty takes about Nott, which involve the theory that she’s become crueller or more callous because of the body she’s in?
It would be one thing to say, “Nott has experienced discrimination and oppression as a goblin that she didn’t as a halfling, and as such, is more cynical about the world.”
But I do not think that “goblins are inherently awful and inferior, as a race, to the point that you will become a worse person by virtue of having their genetics” is a view that Matthew Mercer would ever endorse at his table.
