Eddie starts a group chat where he chronicles Adrian’s parenting fails.
He also occasionally sends tear-jerkingly cute moments, but 3 of the hardest of core guardians will never admit to being moved.
With Lissa and Rose away a Lehigh and being queenly, Christian would get pretty bored, pretty quick. Especially in that period before defense lessons for Moroi are actually legalised and going. Post High School, there’s Not a Lot Going On at the Moment for Christian and by extension, Dimitri. The only hobby we see him have other than learning to be a magical badass is cooking...
Christian decides to do an human evening (early morning for them) cooking class, with Dimitri in it as his partner. Dimitri’s knife skills come in handy and he not so secretly loves it. They get super pumped up about classes every week, and start practicing at home. The unable-to-boil-water Rose and so-busy-it’s-exhausting-just-watching-her-please-get-that-girl-a-pillow Lissa are not even a little mad.
As the class goes on, it becomes clear that everyone in their class thinks they are an adorable couple doing date night, which they can’t even deny because it explains Dimitri being there far better than 2 dudes being bros. The other Court guardians who watch Christian and Lissa made a few jokes until that one week Christian and Dimitri didn’t share. Their beautiful love was respected there on out.
Lissa and Jill end up bonding over something unexpected; the trashy, dramatic reality TV shows that Lissa picks up from college.
