I was a very lucky gal these last few days. I went on a #roadtrip with my dad @leogaryme, to his VA Rheumatology appointment in Salt Lake City. What a great #VAHospital! Yes, they have scary halls but they are treating my dad well! . We had some great meals, I was able to #run and enjoy a great session of #swimming at Steiner Aquatic Center, we made visit to an old Fort/Museum where I learned a ton about what my dad did in the #usarmy. I have to be honest here, I have learned a lot over the years about the #military but this weekend I actually wanted to get down to the details because I have served so many #veterans in my job as a #mortgagebroker at @blackdiamondmortgage. I am so glad I kept my ears open and asked questions. Our veterans have done so much for us. Please give the next vet you see a hug and tell them THANK YOU! They have been through sooooo much and we honestly can’t even imagine!!! . I am filled with hope and love and definitely will be paying more attention to all the #warmovies out there because a lot of them are legit and close to what really happened. Some of it is hard to be exact but historians take accounts from multiple people to cross reference and build the truth and it is amazing. I have such a new and bigger respect for al those that served and are still serving!
