Also hey, I have a question. I wanna write but im not sure how that works on tumblr 🤔 got any tips?

Of course!! Starting writing on tumblr can be so confusing and daunting, I totally get what you mean. But I’m so glad you wanna write! It’s so rewarding and I’ve met some of the best people ever because of it <33

What I did at first was just post some fics from my head, like without prompts/requests. But what you could also do is make a post saying your requests are open and post some rules for requesting if you have them and tag then with the characters you’re writing for! Like if you’re opening requests for Anakin and Obi-Wan, you could make a post saying that and ask people for requests + tag the post “anakin skywalker x reader” and “obi wan kenobi x reader” and whatnot so more people will see it!

Then, once you have your premise for the fic, just... write! I know that doesn’t seem too helpful but what I mean is don’t get in your head about it being “good” or whatever. Just write what comes to mind! Trust your instincts, it’s better to get something on paper than spend the entire time just obsessing over the quality of your work, believe me <3

Another thing that helps me a lot is reading fics! I know that sometime I’ll be stuck with character and I’ll take a break to read some fics and it can literally help so much

Also some people write directly in tumblr but I don’t trust the hellsite so I always write on google docs and then I copy and paste it into tumblr. I have to format it again but idc, I’m so paranoid that tumblr’s gonna delete my work.
