You find yourself in a very different world.
The air feels suffocating with the heat and humidity, both were enough to put anywhere in the tropics to shame. It was especially strange since it was dark out, one would think it would at leasr be a bit cooler. But the heat seems to be coming from the ground itself.
The sky is incredibly dark, it doesn't help the fact that many of these plants, if they even are plants, are glowing in some way. Some of them, it was only on certain parts of them, others it was almost the whole thing. In the distance, as much as one can see anyway, it looks like a very large cliff that gets eaten by the void of a sky as it goes up what could be miles, the base only barely visible from the bioluminescence on the geound, and a spatter of the "plants" growing from the side.
In terms of other senses, aside from the obvious very humid smell, the place smelled oddly pleasant, mostly like various kinds of mushroom. There isn't much in the way of noise, its uncomfortably silent, and any sort of animal noise doesn't carry very well in the air and sounds weirdly muted.
There is a sudden incredibly loud rumble around, also muted by the atmosphere, you end up leaning against one of the trees in case the ground shakes. But it is still.
In front of you is a great beast with a large glowing belly and many teeth. It grumbles at you, and as it actually speaks, it sounds and feels like the entire planet is speaking.
