Aaand here it is!

Finally going to try to commit to my old Layton fanstory. Though the story hasn’t been fully developed yet, I wanted to show it off! I hope my fellow Professor Layton are open to another fancomic! I’ll try my best to post more doodles and stuff of this later on!

Keep in mind that since it’s still in development, some elements such as character design may change in the future.

(Bad plot summary and alt version of art below)

Professor Layton reunites with his old colleague Desmond Sycamore to locate and study a supposed hideout of alchemists from around the 14th century. Among science and machinery not yet conceivable by man, there supposedly rests a device that can grant wishes. Along the journey, the professor will face new challenges and foes, including a criminal organization that seems all too familiar, and a mysterious cloaked figure who wants nothing more than to stop Layton in his tracks.

i did @leafcabbage dtiys! my art skills are basically zero, but I'm happy with how it came out! my first time properly trying to draw dogs 😅 but cabbage's dogs are darlings and deserve the world <3
