🖊+Valan
Want me to gush about my OCs?Send me a “🖊+an OC“ and I will talk about that OC!
Valan is a lil ball of anxiety that’s really good at masking how he feels. He’s terrified of the world and everything it holds. But his curiosity matches his fear and he leaps before he looks.
Once he went to smell a flower on a bush, only to have the flower fight back and jump on his face. He mistook a praying mantis for a flower. He won’t go near bushes without triple checking for insects now.
His companions might pin him for being awkward and stupid because of his lack of experience in the world. It’s difficult for him to speak about real-world issues since he knows nothing about them. He doesn’t know what animals to look out for, what plants are edible, and he’s never been in water that goes higher than his knees.
His only experience is that relating to fire. Valan is really good at starting fires.
Valan, after everyone else in his Joining dies:
👻🔮 - your choice as in who ever pops in to your head first ^^
👻 If your muse became a ghost, who would be their go-to haunt?
Eon wouldn’t haunt anyone but himself. He’d be unable to move on to the afterlife with the sheer amount of regret he holds.
People still frequent Skyhold after the Inquisition was shut down, using it as a fortress and waypoint in the mountains to resupply and use as shelter in blizzards.
Curious visitors wander the structure after sundown. Many visit former Inquisitor Eon’s quarters. Almost all who have wandered there at this time have reported hearing a sad moaning or crying by the balcony.
Kosmo would haunt his father and friends, though in more of a playful manner than anything. He would move some things around and give them a chill but nothing scary.
Valynril would haunt slave owners who treat slaves badly, punishing them with scratches in their sleep.
Valan would do the opposite of haunt and instead watch over Alistair and Morrigan.
🔮If they were able to see their future, would they do it?
Amusingly, one of my muses can see their future but cannot control that he does. He hates this fact and wish he could turn it off. That muse is Kosmo.
None of my other muses seem to really care for the offer, though a few would take up the offer if persisted.
Valynril is simply curious what happens, bad or good. She would never work to prevent something from happening to her because she knows whatever she tries will be her fate and lead to the same end anyways. Her destiny is already written.
Wren would also look at her future out of curiosity. Though her future would be as dull as the rest of her life so far so she’d shrug and continue on.
Eon and Brutus would pass on it as they know their future is probably not bright. They’d rather be surprised.
Glandival and Cathon are happy with their lives and wish to see the future for themselves in hopes to be pleasantly surprised.
Valan would either be last or first of my muses to look at their future. Indecision would keep him at bay, wondering if he should look or not. Eventually he would give in only to see if his regrets are fixed.
Romance: Valan
Valan has never been in a relationship before. He's never really thought about dating since it's more or less taboo in the Circle. He never thought what it would be like to be truly in love nor have thoughts of having a family.
This changed entirely when Valan left the Circle. He didn't really understand what it felt like to have a crush, more or less obsessing over one person. For him, that was Alistair. The first person he was able to truly connect with outside the Circle. While Dunkin was kind, he didn't get the same connection with him. Valan immediately trusted Alistair. Something about the way he carried himself, the way he spoke, his attitude towards the Wardens, the way he looked... Sometimes he'd get lost just smiling and staring at the man.
But Valan neglected to act upon these forsaken feelings out of embarrassment and uncertainty. Sometimes he would subtly flirt here and there but nothing along the lines of a confession. This is one of Valan's regrets.

Sweet and Pure Asks
Valan was chosen as the character to answer these since he needs more development.
💋- kissing in the dark or kissing in the rain?
“Kissing in the dark, of course. Ominous yet serene and private. I could light a flame so we can see each other and keep warm. Rain extinguishes my flames and makes me cold.

🍼- what is your favorite memory?
“It was more recently than I’d like to admit, but going outside of the Circle for the first time. I was born and raised in the Circle and was never allowed to leave. Duncan was even thinking about bringing me back because I was so unfamiliar with simple things like grass, trees, animals... Reading from books is one thing but seeing it in person is an entirely different experience. It was a beautiful sensory overload for me.”
🌸- what is your favorite flower?
“There were some beautiful flowers that we saw at Ostagar. They were small, beautiful red, orange and yellow flowers. They smelled beautiful. Alistair called them ‘merry-golds’.”
Fears of the Fade
Eon d’Lacey Adaar
Changes as he delves further into the Fade. At first he faces himself, but the form quickly turns to Gideon, his lost love he was unable to protect. Then it turns into his parents who he regrets leaving behind. The last people it turns into are his companions of Inquisition, who he fears becoming his enemies due to his actions.
After the events at Therinfal Redoubt, Eon is hardly phased at all.
