Haven’t drawn my favorite elleth in a while
Thaliya should know not to leave me unattended
I just found a blog post that I made the day I started playing Lord of the Rings Online — May 14th is my LotRO-versary! These are the first two screenshots I ever took of Val.
Illuvarion did not yet exist.
I mention in my FAQ post that Middle Earth and Hyrule can peacefully coexist in my world - mostly because I can't choose. But also, because I am largely done writing about Middle Earth, at least for now.
If you're interested in reading it, I have a multi-year project of writing, in character, about my time in Lord of the Rings Online. It is called Postcards from Middle Earth — the story of one Valaraen Avariquen, an elvish huntress, her lover Haarland, her mentor Thalya, their comrades and her long journey from the peace of her home in Lothlórien into the heart of the battle for Middle Earth.
A Year in Hyrule is obviously not an in-character/role-playing effort, as I prefer to concentrate my role-playing into multiplayer environments. And because it's not exactly the right medium. And because Link is already a character. AYiH is a project in writing about my experience in playing the games, not my character's experience in the game.
I hope you enjoy both!
Namárië!
