Houston, it's Expression Busts tiiimmeee
So, in a Discord server for me and a few friends, we decided to start a "Monthly challenge", mostly in an attempt to help a friend get into actually finishing her drawings instead of never getting past the sketch stage. Opted to start small, so we're doing headshots each month uvu I decided to add the extra step for myself to get better at making different expressions instead of the same 3 faces I've done for 10 years, lel :B
Personally, I intend at some point to start making expression sheets with 5 expressions of one chara on each of them. I have made one so far, but that'll be for a different post <:

Bruh, this is the biggest piece I've ever done. Was also only 7 years in the making, *wheeze*

Enter the mer kRAKENS
These bois are brothers (with 4 additional siblings) and they are massive. Not easy to tell with their given surroundings, but one day we’ll get to draw them alongside some of their smaller family members.

It’s not often I get to make big pieces with somewhat decent background and stuff, but this is definitely one of those pieces where I got to it and I’m proud of it <: The sketch for this piece was made for Mermay2020
