Taking a spare flannel, Valbar scrubs himself clean of the day's battle; dirt and sweat cascade off him, flowing down the stream. Languishing, Leon languidly looks over him, lapping up the lavish scene before him.

Valbar catches him staring, and smiles that dumb wide smile. It's not that he wants or likes to be wanted by Leon, but it's never bothered him. It never even seems to cross his mind, as if he doesn't know or has forgotten.

A thick arm waves him over, feigned obliviousness rearing its head again. "You come to wash off too?"

"I suppose I did."
