The saying goes that early is on time, on time is late, and lateness is unacceptable. It’s a principle that Quinn believes, so fifteen minutes early is her norm, sometimes to the chagrin of other attorneys or clients. But it works for her.

L I S T E N. This boy was not blessed with good eyesight. He’s farsighted, so if you ever walked past him not wearing his glasses, said hello and he didn’t recognize you, you have his -7.00 D miopia (on his right eye, his left eye is -5.50 D) to blame for that. 

He usually wears glasses, but when he worked at Java, most of the time he were contacts. He prefers glasses though because touching his eye irks him out.

He hates calling. Hates. He gets very anxious and sometimes needs to write down what needs to be said, sort of like a little script, in order not to get spacey or forget anything important. So texting is his go-to.

Dear past-Topher,

I know you enjoyed every moment you had with mum, and it was very good, but I do wish you had asked her more about being a Shapeshifter? I’m not blaming you for anything, of course, but it would’ve been nicer.

Safe to say, we got to Astoria alright, it’s everything we hoped. Oh, if it works you know, I don’t know anything about time-travel, but could you finish high school before you leave? Like, I know what’s gonna happen is not okay and that you’re angry, but just hang in there for a few more weeks, get that diploma and then get out. You can burn the house down of course, I know you have to. 

I kinda need that diploma because I maybe want to be K9 dog-police officer. Not a hundred percent certain, but maybe.

Also, when you leave, and take Talia, because we both know you will, hide your tracks better. You will thank me. You two gotta stick together you know.

"I kind of can’t? Since most of them are no longer here. I enjoyed some of my cousins’ company, but we lost contact after I moved out from my home city. And my dad, I don’t even want to know what’s happened to him so far.”
