Classification: Dinosauria, Ornithischia, Genasauria, Neornithischia, Cerapoda, Ornithopoda, Iguanodontia, Dryomorpha, Dryosauroidea, Dryosauridae

Valdosaurus is a Dryosaurid known from the Isle of Wight in England, as well as the Hastings Beds of West Sussex. It lived lived in the Early Cretaceous, so some time between 145 and 100 million years ago. Though it has had other species assigned to the genus, one was never formally described, and the other has been given its own genus from other locations in Europe. It would have been around 1.2 meters long and it’s known from fairly fragmentary remains.

The tail, rear legs, pelvis and vertebra were found by a local person in the sandstone (South side) of the Isle of Wight in October 2012 and are now being prepped and preserved.
