"I know. You're a wonderful person and a great boyfriend but we're barely adults ourselves. It's just scary." She admitted. All this time she worked hard to present a proper image for her agency, the public and her father but with Valen she allowed herself to be vulnerable even if it costs her some effort. "Should we do the test?" She asked him, tears in her eyes as she did.

"It is but if it's going to happen then let it be while we're working decent jobs and committed to one another." In the past, he was the worrier. The one who thought of the worst scenarios. But seeing Sam becoming distressed and panicking ... he had to protect her. He had to do what he could to help her. "Yeah. That way we know for sure."

"No need. I already got a test. I was just too scared to tell you." She quickly wiped her mouth with some toilet paper. "I don't think you would run out on me or something crazy. It terrifies me because once that stick tells me I'm carrying a child, I can't run. It scares the hell out of me but the test, it's in the very back of the medicine cabinet.

"Wait ... you've been hiding this from me?" Was she really that scared? Moving in to the bathroom, Valen allowed her to wipe her mouth before gently cupping the woman's cheeks. A kiss given to her forehead before he looked her in the eyes. "I'm not going anywhere. If this is what's going on then I'm gonna be here no matter what."

"I'm not one hundred certain it's the diet." She was coming back on her words a little while hanging over the toilet. She wasn't quite vomitting yet but she felt close. "Is there a chance that, you know? We are having a bit more intimacy lately, I could be pregnant. I haven't exactly done a test." She would briefly look at him before throwing up.

" ... Huh?" Pregnant. Valen's features paled a touch as a hand came up to rub the back of his neck. "I mean ... it's not impossible. We haven't used protection a few times so -- Fuck." It wasn't the end of the world if it was the case since they were earning decent money ... but a kid? Now? "I'll go to the store and get a test."

"Just a little nausea. I think it's something in my new diet. I've been feeling sick every so often. It's no big deal." Sam decided to take it easy for just a moment. Not exactly sexy but there was no helping it. "Sorry to ruin the moment." She was quick to head into the bathroom.

"That's not good if your diet is doing that." Valen got up and followed behind the woman, leaning against the doorframe of the bathroom for the time being. "You should talk to your agency and get it changed. This isn't healthy."

"Wha-?" With Sam getting off of him, Valen sat up on the bed and watched her. A brow raising in curiosity. "Everything okay?"

"What isn't there? There are bars, restaurants, theatres, museas and so much more. Now that we're here, we might best make use of it, right?" Sam loved the big city, for her shoots she had been in New York, London & Paris a few times and she adored those lively places. "Why don't we go for a drink first? I've gotten quite thirsty."

"Hmm." He was so used to being in the middle of nowhere. Small towns were so quaint and quiet compared to the chaos he had experienced so far in the city, his time spent in it minimal particularly after his mother's passing. Even just the height of the buildings was intimidating! "Yeah, sure. Some lunch overall might be good. Anywhere good around here?"

"it kind of is, there is a canal which boats pass through and public transport that takes us directly to the coast but I hear what you're saying." Sam would turn to him, taking his hand. "if this isn't the place for you, we'll just keep on looking, 'kay?" She smiled after giving him a peck on the lips. Once having left the apartment, she'd thank the real estate agent before parting ways with that person. "now that we're in the city anyway, is there something you want to do before heading home?"

Even with her reassurances, he couldn't help but fear that he was doing nothing but causing trouble. Keeping a hold of her hand even as they parted ways with the agent, Valen's grip was a bit loose as if waiting for her to pull away from him. "Hm? I don't know, I don't come here that often so I don't really know what there is."
