Here's a little excerpt from my latest WIP Valhalla Calling:
My mind wanders thousands of miles into the middle of the Iowa where my family is. They have no idea. Sure they know I’m in... was in England. I get their letters just like I send souvenirs back. But they haven’t heard from me in at least a couple weeks. In a few more hours Mama and Allie will know. The whole damn world will know. We sure can’t FUBAR this. This is our one shot. So we gotta make it count.

So the fact that Geoff hit a B0 at all is ridiculous, let alone the fact that he hit it multiple times and held it for 10+ seconds each time, both in Valhalla Calling and the HALO cover
But the fact that he said it took him about 5 fucking hours to get it right (Not entirely sure which of the covers he was referring to, but I think it was Valhalla Calling?) is ridiculous
Because his voice must have been destroyed by that point
And HE STILL DID IT WITH THAT MUCH POWER??? LIKE SHUT???? CEASE?? HOW DO YOU DO THAT???????
Trying to hit a note that is that far below what he would normally do would be not particularly healthy if he did it for maybe half an hour
But for him to have done it for 5 hours? That is borderline insanity, but it worked and I don't understand how because he should not be able to do that. His voice should have been raspy as hell but it WASN'T.

It's a Miracle of Sound cover and it kicks absolute ass.
It's very cheesy viking-folk-metal stuff but I enjoy this deeply and greatly. The video is also lots of fun, I am a HUGE fan of the blue violin, it looks gorgeous.
It's a heavier, faster, and powerful version of the original Valhalla Calling. It's glorious, I've already been listening to it on repeat since I heard it come out.
Go out and give it a chance. This just makes me more excited for Warriors once it finally drops on the 3rd.
Everyone and their brother has covered Miracle of Sound's epic but I'm telling you, this version is something special.
