I have this idea for a FNAF au that kind of overalls Glitchtrap and becomes pretty Canon divergent due to it
the whole au is designed around this idea that I randomly had were what if instead of Glitchtrap completely replicating William he actually personality wise replicated Spring Bonnie (being more silly and outgoing plus a warmer demeanour and more “caring”) More and only really replicate a few things from William like narcissistic tendencies murder being really good at manipulationand a handful of memories but still believing that their William
So Glitchtrap’s or as they would be known here Valhare motivation here would mostly be trying to replicate the Afton family + Henry (and possibly Charlie and Cassidy for reasons) I.e people who look like them enough so then they can eventually replace their personalities and memories and then drag their consciousnesses into the digital realm were Valhare can play out it’s fantasy
Currently in the story, it would have one person down to fill the role of one of the Aftons aka Gregory (I can think you can guess who he’s meant to be) although Vanny still exists here but she’s not meant to represent anyone in the Afton or Emily family she’s basically a pawn to find people like that (plus a bit of murder) oh and she’s not Vanessa tho I think it would be interesting if Valhare grew to think of her like a second daughter overtime not her normal self though specifically the Vanny persona
and if I do include Cassidy (if I do include her she’d probably be the crying child’s best friend here and Valhare wouldn’t really be aware she was killed it doesn’t remember enough of her for that) Valhare would be trying to have Cassie fulfill the role and that’s what that one immersive choose your own adventure book that I currently can’t remember the name of would be about this universe not Cassie almost getting killed by Gregory & Glitchtrap but Valhare trying to get her weak enough to influence her with a possessed Gregory’s help
I’ve planned out the ending for the story and well let’s just say most of the characters would not consider it a happy ending except one…of course
I want to make this a fic but I’m currently writing two different ones (not related to fnaf) and I’d rather at least properly finish a few more chapters of those before I make this one plus it could give me a bit more time to flesh out the story a bit more 🤷♀️ (and actually give this thing a name and how to properly introduce the oc’s it would probably have to fulfil the other roles) I also kind of wanna make a few versions of this that go in slightly different directions from the “cannon one” I guess you could say although that’s probably when I have the entire story properly laid out
