Hot/Steamy Kiss & Underwater Kiss

Demetria knows how Avery has been looking at her ever since they’ve met and became friends. Demetria would be lying if she said she hasn’t been looking at the other girl’s lips when she wasn’t looking.

Avery wanted to meet up so she could introduce Demetria to cliff diving. With the sun setting, they only had a couple of minutes of light left so they ran through the trail to get to the top.

When they got there, salt water filled your lungs easily. Demetria didn’t know how far it was until she was looking down into the black ocean. Luckily for them, the ocean was calm with there being no moon in sight.

Avery began to strip off her clothes with her swimsuit under them. Demetria started doing the same thing, but looking up to catch glances of the other girl.

Avery was standing near the edge when Demetria was about to take off her shirt when a piece of the cliff fell taking Avery with it. Demetria sped and jumped not thinking twice. Demetria wrapped herself around Avery to make sure she got most of the impact of the water and she did.

Demetria let go of Avery when they were both submerged. Avery pulled Demetria up to the surface, pain flowing through Demetria’s back but it ended when Avery pulled her lips to her’s. Demetria tried to concentrate on the kiss and not the pain pulling Avery’s waist closer with one arm to get rid of any space between them. They were both deep into the kiss when Avery stopped kicking pulling Demetria down into the water with her.

❛ I’m sorry, Avery. I didn’t mean to slip this up. It just happened,❜  Bonnie apologized, giving her friend a sympathetic look. She had foolishly told the boy (Avery’s crush) that Avery liked One Diretion when the topic music appeared. Embarrassing a girl in front of her crush? That was truly a crime she committed, and felt terribly sorry for it.  ❛ Please, please, forgive me, Ave. You can humiliate me in front of Damon too, okay?❜  Large brown eyes peered hopefully into the brunette’s dark brown hues. Her suggestion, granting Avery to tell something embarrassing about herself in front of Damon should be a means to make it up to her.

RP Starters: Concern

❛ No, I’m not, but so are we all, ❜ the dainty redhead muttered meekly in return to Avery’s observation. Her brunette friend was driving her home after staying at the boarding house with her other friends, although one member was not present, being missed: Damon. They had been trying to bring him back ever since he died on the moon in the Dark Dimension, and till now they had failed, and to worsen the situation for her: it was her fault he died as he simply saved her from sheer death, like so many times before, but this time it truly cost his life.  ❛  I’m sorry, Avery. Nowadays, I’m no good company to hang out with, ❜ she apologized, a small smile sweeping over her plump lips. These days she was mostly at home, in her room, crying into her pillow.

Hc + nightmare

As a result of the trauma she endured, Eva is very prone to having nightmares about those events. Although they are nothing more than memories of those unfortunate events Eva had to live through, when she has them she truly believes she is reliving the event all over again. They are beyond terrifying for Eva; turning her from a strong-willed person from someone who is emotionally shattering.  The nightmares can include anything from:

the house fire which left Eva’s mother dead and Eva with 60% of 2nd/3rd degree burns

Damon killing her father in the cellar and killing/attacking her

Or Wes experimenting on her in the augustine.

Whenever one of these nightmares occurs it can result in a range of reactions from Eva. It can be as subtle as Eva just waking up in a cold sweat, or as extreme as Eva screaming, crying and thrashing about in bed. When it’s the latter it can be very difficult for Eva to calm down. Usually if someone is with her then it helps Eva to calm down, although when she “calms down enough” she immediately feels very embarrassed for her actions, even though she had no control over it. 

Occasionally, her nightmares do settle down however they are very easily provoked during times of extreme stress, or anything that might trigger it such as halloween (Zach was killed the night before Halloween so the whole holiday was very fresh and basically embedded into Eva’s mind as a reminder of the night Damon killed her father).

Hc + home

Eva personally feels as though each time she has a ‘home’, it just gets ripped away from her. Her first home was with her mother in North Carolina but unfortunately the entire house was burnt to the ground in a tragic house fire. Her second home was with her father in Mystic Falls (at the Salvatore Boarding House) but although the house is still standing, it has a lot of bad memories inside the house, particularly in the basement where Damon killed Zach and turned/killed her. Even four years on, the trauma of those memories still heavily affect Eva and she has been unable to see the boarding house as a ‘safe home’. Despite that, she still continues seeing it as her father’s house as it’s the only thing Eva technically has left of him. It’s left Eva with a very complicated view on the boarding house because the memories living in those walls are ones that terrify her and leave her screaming through some/most nights, but she also can’t bare to part with the house because she’s terrified of abandoning her father.
