Vairë the Weaver
My vision of Vairë the Weaver of Fate, wife of Námo Mandos, and a powerful Valie.
Not sure who I will do next...
Tapestry background is "the Orchard" by William Morris, edited and toned by me to suit the scene.

Can we get a Aulë and Yavanna sipping tea of some sort?
Those two seem like the chill valar who watch everything instead of getting involved into drama.
Personally, they didn't seem that way to me 🤔
Let's remember. When there was, let's say, a golden age in Valinor, when all the elves and even the Noldor 🙈were pure in mind and body, the Valar gladly taught them their magic, shared their knowledge in art, healing, communication with animals and plants. Therefore, the elves who returned to Middle-earth in the Exodus understood the nature around them well and easily found contact with it.
This desire to teach and teach is well described in the moment when Aulë created the first dwarves: he could not wait for the first children of the Eru Iluvatar. But he also greatly respects Manwë, who has already forbidden all Valar to interfere in the fate of the inhabitants of Middle-earth, remembering the result of the war with Melkor. Then everything that they had created was destroyed.
As for Yavanna, she loves plants and nature very much. She can be considered as an image of Mother Nature 🌿 and all plants: trees, flowers, herbs, etc., these are her children. And that's why she cares more about them, because no matter how majestic nature is, it is very vulnerable and easy to destroy. That's why I think her strong concern for plants is justified.
I depicted this couple caressing each other in nature during breaks from their worries. The tea mugs didn't fit, but they are there.
I hope I managed to convey the warmth, affection, care and most importantly the love of these beautiful Valar and now they don't seem so cold and distant 🥰❤️
Yavanna, áva hehta eldalyar! - the elven song to the Valië of Earth ... I already miss summer.
Happy Easter With Vana
I'm going to a LotR quiz tomorrow and got inspired to doodle Varda
