ok folks i’m bitter today and i’ve gotten a ton of these, all of which i plan on answering, so if you’re not feelin’ salty today or don’t wanna see an ocean of it on your dash, feel more than free to block the tag ‘kits salt’.

ANYWAY, HERE WE FUCKIN’ GO. anon hate. here’s what i don’t get. if someone you know irl pissed you off, like a friend or a family member, would your immediate response be to creep up to their door like a gremlin and leave an aggressive anonymous letter about what a shit person they are? or would you maybe uh have an adult conversation about the issue and find a way to resolve it, or even just find a way to move on from it? i don’t…… understand anon hate. i don’t. if someone on your dash does something to upset you or hurt you or annoy you, that is valid. your feelings on the matter are valid. you are valid and you have a right to these feelings. but why can’t you just…….. approach the person and tell them this? IM them? inbox them but not anonymously so they can answer privately? like, what’s stopping you from behaving like a rational adult and telling them calmly that they’ve caused you some upset, so they could maybe uh acknowledge that and talk it over with you and then it wouldn’t have to end in bitterness?? and. by sending things anonymously, you’re robbing this person of the right to keep the situation private. if they want to answer anonymous messages and acknowledge them and offer their side of the situation, they have to plaster it all over the dash. something that could’ve been quietly sorted is now dash drama. now other people might join in. now it might fuckin blow up. idk why you’d want that. all you’re doing is making this person anxiously wonder which of their followers hates them this much. that’s a shitty feeling. you’re not being the better person by making someone feel like shit. grow the fuck up and either learn to resolve a situation or learn to move past it. unfollow, block, blacklist, do what you gotta. just stop spreading more negative feelings.
