To those who thinks that SJM is going to turn Gwyn evil and make her betray the Valkyries, please look at the below screenshot.

This is SJM telling one of her closest friends that when she reads ACOSF she’ll understand how impactful their friendship has been. What friendship was shown in ACOSF? The Valkyries, which included Gwyn. SJM has put a huge emphasis on the friends and sisters Nesta has found in Emerie and Gwyn to the point where it is reflective of the friendships she has in her own personal life.

But yeah, sure. Sarah is gonna make Gwyn betray Emerie and Nesta to be evil with Koschi and rip apart their friendship for the sake of drama (which holds no substance to the plot).

I’ve seen a lot of talk about how Gwyn didn’t hurt/kill anyone in the Blood Rite. This statement usually goes accompanied by the fact that Elain did kill/hurt the King of Hybern (to me personally, the jury’s still out on the “killing” regarding Elain) and that’s why she’s better suited for Azriel.

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble and bring up a “body count”, but I do like facts and I like to keep them straight. These are from Acosf:

(Guess those private dagger handling lessons from the Shadowsinger came in pretty handy for our girl 😉).

So this means, the group of Illyrians who attacked them were dead or incapacitated. Nesta was taking care of her share of them while Emerie and Gwyn were taking care of the others. They worked as a team and all of them together dispatched of the males attacking them.

As you can see, Gwyn did see some action in battle: she actually fought and killed some Illyrian warriors directly and indirectly. She was trained by two of the best, after all.

So if this issue is a point in favor of who can match Azriel’s freak, then I guess we have a point for team Gwyn.
