Imagine telling readers that the bonus chapter doesn't matter when the author herself would immediately correct that claim and prob laugh at Elriels for saying such fucking bullshit.

The truth is that they don't like how the bonus chapter ended, so instead of engaging with what was actually written, they invented the narrative that it isn't important.

A bonus chapter is still written by the author and publisher. It's still part of the story she's choosing to tell. You don't have to like the implications, but pretending it suddenly isn't relevant because it doesn't support your preferred outcome is your denial, and funny how for all the shit they talk about the bonus not meaning anything they cling to the almost kiss, the one you know Azriel said was a mistake.

If your argument only works by convincing people to ignore official material, maybe the problem isn't the bonus chapter 🤷🏻‍♀️

I find it really funny when people say that azriel's bonus chapter shouldn't be considered canon or that it's just a 'deleted scene' that shouldn't be taken too seriously

sure, the scene wasn't meant to be overanalyzed, but bonus chapters (besides serving marketing purposes) are meant to intrigue the reader and generate curiosity for the upcoming books

so yeah, these scenes are canon, otherwise the author wouldn't waste time writing them

and especially in azriel's case, a character who sparks so much curiosity in certain readers, his pov served perfectly to address the situationship with elain and whatever-is-going-on (cough cough mating bond cough cough) with gwyn

I just can’t wait to see how this will play out in acotar 6

Elucien week day 2- Feral

I love how so many people think of Calanmai and the absolute ferocity these two will share during that time!!

I have a fic in the works that this image is based off of! I was debating on doing an image or a fic, so I decided one could be for feral day and the other for 'revival' day!

I absolutely love the idea of Elan and Lucien losing all inhibitions and giving into their most base and primal need for each other, without the thought of propriety!

If you haven’t read cc at this point, that’s your own problem, not the authors, you have had years to catch up. You still have 3 months to catch up 🤷‍♀️
