Ravenclaws possess the traits of cleverness, wisdom, wit, intellectual ability and creativity. Students in Ravenclaw are noted for their individuality and acceptance of people and things that others would consider weird, as well as their outstanding intelligence. They can also be quirky and possess unusual intellectual interests. While others may be inclined to shun and ridicule such people, Ravenclaws generally accept and celebrate these eccentrics. Though they are often called stuck up, that is not the case.

&&. ( svala sigurd ) was just spotted in amsterdam. rumor has it ( she/her ) is a ( 1,000 / appears 37 ) year old ( angel of light ) who resembles ( katheryn winnick ). ( she ) has been said to be ( loyal & caring ) but also quite ( aggressive & impulsive ).with all the chaos surrounding the magical underworld, ( she ) has chosen to align with ( angels of light ). ( she ) is currently serving as ( warrior angel / mechanic). hopefully the city doesn’t devour them whole.

Svala has been under the service of the angels so long she has forgotten any former life she might have had before. She has been mistaken for a Valkyrie in the days of old but with age has grown softer but more loyal to the angels of light. Svala has witnessed many of those closest to her fall from grace and lose their loyalty to the ones she has fought beside for years. She has yet to understand it and probably never will because one thing ingrained in her very being is the loyalty she has become so well known for.

Svala has led anything but a simple life, the battles she has taken part in have left her bloody and broken on several occasions. The only battle that she is ashamed of is the one where she watched her son fade from the light and fall into darkness. Only her most trusted confidantes know of her son and she refuses to speak of it. The cut to deep for her to bear at times. Svala sees her son’s betrayal as not only against the angels of light but herself. Her stubborn and hard headedness only makes it more difficult for any of her former allies she still contacts occasionally to explain why they chose to live free. 

Spending most of her time now training younger angels and living a somewhat normal life but secluded life Svala is always ready for battle with her allies need her as she has always been. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes is the write thing to do but will the day come when she finds herself questioning her choices?

Svala: 🗻Do you ever want to escape society altogether for a while?

“All the time. I think it comes down getting away and clearing my head but also just getting my family away from what is currently going on in our lives.”

Svala: 📘In the remainder of your life, what else do you hope to learn?

“I hope to learn and understand better the choices people make. Like those that chose to fall. I want to understand what drove them to it. What made them choose it. What keeps me bound to my duty besides my loyalty.”

💀What is your opinion on death and mortality in general?

“I’ve seen so much death that it’s just become a way of life. Another day that goes by… it makes me envious of humans and other creatures that have limited time on earth. It makes me pity the ones that don’t get the chance to experience it.”

🕗In your time, what has been one of the most interesting time periods?

Svala

“I really enjoyed the sixties and seventies. I spent a lot of time in America there. Just living life. Enjoying it. It was the first normal I had ever experienced and I guess you can say I chased it ever since then.”

“The 80′s, I love all fashion but that time period had some crazy get ups. It made people watching sooo much more fun than it is now.”
