On route to Monument Valley.

This was actually quite a busy dirt road loop, near Mexican Hat in Utah.

This road is why we were almost late for the Mystery Valley tour that started at the Monument Valley visitor center.

It’s funny how many people I saw take 2 wheel drive cars through this road, and expect to not get stuck in some way.

So if you are planning on taking this off road self driving tour, please be aware that the road quality can be bad at times. That doesn’t mean that if you have a 2 wheel drive don’t take it, just be careful if you do.

As the road is deceiving at the beginning, the quality is good and there are pullout points, but further along, the road gets a little rough, with uneven ground and no where to pull out.

Either way it’s worth the trouble in my opinion.
