OC's Background Relationships Ask Game

🎲 - Biological parents

Her parents were two members of the Slash warband, Rheya Fangslash and Vallus Smokeslash.

Rheya was all Aurelia wanted to be once she was grown up: strong, fierce and excellent in everything (at least in the eyes of a cub who only heard praises towards her dam), yet loyal and good to her warband and friends. While she lacked motherly instincts of any kind and often felt bored with the tasks tied to raising a cub, Rheya never really let it show, always turning things into a game for baby Aurelia to get her to play along (or delegating to Vallus whenever that failed). Eventually, once she started spending more time teaching her than nursing her, she really clicked with her cub and spent most of her free time with her.

While Rheya was the "fun parent", Aurelia's relationship with her sire was less intense, as he was calmer, laid back and "so boring". He acted like the proudest sire in the Legions, always letting her win when they played pretend fights, and while Aurelia was a mostly agreeable cub, he had the soft patience his mate lacked to get a cub to do necessary things. Aurelia often pouted that her sire was embarrassing, but she always said it with a purr in the back of her throat, and it was not unusual to find her asleep on/against him in the mornings "because mother moves too much in her sleep".

A lot of Aurelia's early personality and raw skills came from her dam, which was noted by one of the teachers at the fahrar that knew her parents, but as she grew her demeanor shifted closer to her sire. When Vallus delivered her the news of the Slash warband's untimely death, Aurelia took it in stride as she was taught by her Primus, but after her sire broke down in front of her and told her not to let duty be more important than those at her side, she allowed her to cry for the loss of her mother and all the others. In the end, those words shaped her and her warband's path, and while her sire didn't show up in her life until much later when she had to save him (Honorless Gladium storyline, happens 8 years earlier though), she still fondly remembers the short time she spent with them.

...Notably missing from my earlier OCs as dungeon meshi exploreres was Vallus. That's because of all of them Vallus is definitely most like Izutsumi.

So have a cursed cat-Vallus as a terrible treat. He refuses to do things he doesn't like also and routinely scratches everyone in the face. (Honestly whether he is a cat or not.)
