"Do you not want me to come find you?"
"I do not know if you would be allowed, my lady," He sighed, "I am not even meant to see any of my family while I am gone. It is not meant to be a vacation."

"Do you not want me to come find you?"
"I do not know if you would be allowed, my lady," He sighed, "I am not even meant to see any of my family while I am gone. It is not meant to be a vacation."
"Then I shall have to visit you." Nanna grinned. "I'll find you."
He laughed, "Perhaps," he shrugged, "We shall see."
She blushed a little and looked out over the water. "So what do you plan to do in Vanaheim? I can show you the best places if you'd like."
"Ah, it is a diplomatic mission, I will be in the capitol city, in the palace," he said, "I am also to be studying from the healers, mother says I have an aptitude for it. I...do not think I will be away to visit others..." he said looking at her, he wouldn't see her until he got back to Asgard.
Nanna watched him tenderly. "Did you see anything in your dreams about me?"
He bit his lip, "Not in the nightmares no...you are nothing like a terror, you are too wonderful for that."
Her expression softened. "Are you okay? Did your mother need to be protective?" Nanna swam a little closer to him. "You'll like Vanaheim. Its very beautiful."
"Ah, well...when I was younger...I used to have nightmares, Mother thought they were prophetic, but I have stopped having them, so all is well," he smiled, "I am sure, I am rather excited to see it. And that would explain a lot, that it is beautiful, I mean..."
"Why dont you spend time with others? Friends? Girlfriends? Brothers in arms?" Nanna peered at him as they swam. "I have always been surrounded by other people. It can sometimes be very lonely."
"I..." he took a deep breath, wading in the water with powerful strokes, "Until recently, mother has been very protective of me, I was not allowed out of the palace, or Asgard at all. I did not have friends, not many were allowed near me..." he shook his head, "But...I am out now...Mother will be sending me to Vanaheim soon, I am finally allowed out."
She frowned briefly. "Baldr, I'm making a joke." Nanna smiled at him. "Just relax."
"O-oh...yes...of course," he flushed, "I...I am sorry...I am not...not used to being around many people save my brother's or mother...it will take getting used to..."
The Vanir moved after him, keeping her strokes even as she followed Baldr. "What are you showing me? Is this the part where you drown me?"
He shot her a startled look, "N-no! Never! I was- no it was only a waterfall!"
