yknow what maxbot went off with the portal revenge scheme; I'd also be pissed if i was uprooted from my stable cleaning job (unpaid, but that's... normal for a robot, at least) by my colleagues who think I'm too simple to understand I'm being retrofitted to be beat up because they feel like it, and then left to gather dust (and not even for the original cleaning purpose- getting dusty! a cleaning bot getting dusty! unthinkable horror on the cleaning robot's part)
it was probably fun for the first couple times. wiping the floor with 'em. and then very much not fun anymore.
like, super fuck them, go pick on someone your own size. and shape. and ability. without roping in innocent cleaning robots just trying to pick up after your messes already. hey, they're even still doing their new job- challenging the agents, and more effectively than before, even, by creating a circumstance where opponents are as capable of teamwork and evolution as they are.
