Second Chances - 6, 11, 12, 13

What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

in a technical aspect, not a lot i guess? but it being an RP fic definitely makes it different. its amazing how much easier it is to churn out a fic of this length when someone else is writing half of it. also @valroyou is super easy to plan with! we had most scenes planned out ahead of time.

plus, it was the first time id ever really...sat down and wrote an RP like this with a conclusive ending? i was pretty emotional about it when we finally finished it.

What do you like best about this fic?

i loveeee fen and hawke’s relationship with their kids. delving into sam and adrian’s characters was really fun. their worlds really turn around these kids, something that’ll become even more apparent later on.

What do you like least about this fic?

i did take a bit less care with my writing because at first we didnt intend to publish it, we were just writing it for fun. and i suppose going back over it i noticed things that we’d mentioned and then never went over, whether we forgot or what. but other than that idk.

What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

there were a couple songs both @valroyou and i rec’d each other when we were writing second chances (since it was an RP after all) so in order to find them id have to dig back through our conversations but. the one that sticks out is the namesake of the fic (and a song i listen to when im combing through it somtimes)
