The knight yips in surprise before shuddering a bit and looking back and up at Valeria. "Going for a sneak-attack to start things, I see." Grin. "Why not come to the front and try biting again? See how well that works out for you this time~?" Goading her into another attack while warming his hands up for a retaliation. Oh... and look... the spell he normally uses to change clothes just 'happened' to 'malfunction' and revealed his shoulders, neck, and a bit of his upper body. How did that happen~?

"Well she is a potential new friend so I hope she wont mind me too much!" gingerly she does run to find Valeria. Surely she couldnt have wandered off too far! When she does find the tall elf, she does gently ask her to lean down....only to give her a light peck on a cheek! A greeting! Friends greet each other like that no!

She gives Lief a wooden toy horse.

The child lets out a small gasp as he looks at the horse toy and proceeds to give it a small hug. He quickly puts it away in a safe spot within his backpack before giggling and rushing over to the elf. Opening his arms, he embraces Valeria as best he can while smiling up at her. "Thank you!" He beams before nuzzling her.

"The other day I saw a man that looked so much like you. The only difference was that he was blond. It was a little unnerving."

"Oh? Huh, that is odd... if it was a Doppel, they should have gotten the hair right... Mimics also tend to be better about such as well. Still, it is interesting to hear that I have someone who looks so similar. Did he sound similar to me or was it just visual?"

"Yes...that easy...", the man responded, but he was pacing back and forth, clearly impatient, anxious, and thinking a million things and possibilities.

Still, when he managed to gather himself a little, he paused his step and addressed Val again.

"Just sharpening? I can improve them much more than just that, if you want."

"My name is Valeriu, but you can call me Vali, for clarity."
