If you want to know what it's like for Zinnya to hug someone of the same height (165cm, 5'5), turn your head 90 degrees to the side and keep it like that, any less and you just horned someone in the face.

Her neck is also not designed to support that extra weight all the time, it adds up throughout life.

To this poor woman, neck pains are normal. She loves her horns and is proud of them and thinks they are pretty, but she would very much prefer if they didn't grow further as she ages.

"Hello, I know it's been long, I brought you an erotic monster book from home." It has detailed illustrations, descriptions of how things tend to work and happen, and a few short stories. The quality is almost as if written with actual real experience, and the variety is astonishing, more of a thick tome than a book really.

Immediately her face lit up as she took the book happily and was peering through it. Her eyes were wide with awe as she enjoyed seeing the illustrations.. reading the descriptions.. and she couldn't help but giggle up a storm as she soon threw her arms around her friend and nuzzled into her. "You spoil me so much!!"

She laughed and returned the tight hug. "Of course I do! You're wonderful, you deserve all the spoiling!" Her neck turned painfully as usual to not horn Dez in the face, people of the same height required that, but it was also an opportunity to put one quick small kiss under her ear. "If you want to travel, I can probably actually show you some of those in the book, the fae at least, since I'm an expert."

" Other three? " Stephanie paused looking at the other options again, re-reading them over and over to make sure she wasn't making this up " A-all three? " she asked quietly. She now stood there red-faced, frozen, mouth hanging lightly agape.

She smiles, having counted one her fingers until now. "There, all three!" She gives her one more moment to process, then hugs her. "You're wonderful!"

A pair of blazing eyes stare at Eve from the night, their direction smells like swamp water and death and a bit of burnt meat and leather.

Who the FUCK is that. Better yet, WHAT the fuck is that?

Eve stares back into the void of eyes — not out of intimidation, no, out of genuine trepidation. If she weren’t more of a sheep based satyr, she would have been a fainting goat.

Lips part to say something, anything — but all that comes out is a pathetic bleat.

The eyes blink once, then again, then a small girlish sneeze and baleful red lighting thunders nearby at once, for but a moment illuminating a scared-looking child behind the bush to whom the eyes belong. She lowers down as if that bush could hide her hellish eyes.

Ears flick to and fro out of grim curiosity now, apricot eyes squinting to get a better glimpse of what could easily be perceived as a mirage in the dark.

“Wha…? Hey, wait…”

Eve’s tone drops to soft and delicate, crouching down to be eye level with the bush,

“Heeeey lil’…uhm…bush gal? Demon? I don’t judge — but I also ain’t gonna hurt ‘cha! I’m a friendly fool!”

A moment of silence passed, then she managed an "Uh, girl." Not much, but at least it wasn't an 'if I were a demon, approaching like this would have fed it a meal', which would have probably been even more ominous than everything else so far, she figured.

"Don't tell anyone I'm here, there are some really bad people looking for me. I- I need to hide from them." Let's not add yet the 'I don't want to brutally kill them all' part, nor the possible consequences of that going wrong, in fact, let's avoid every bit of extra ominosity if possible!

She didn't look like she wasn't avoiding to mention important and terrible details though, she couldn't pretend to save her life, so was she really trying either.

"...actually, do you have a means of reliably producing a specific amount of electricity consistently?" Given Zinniya's previous reaction to sodas, Iyana is wondering if a soda maker would be a novel gift.

Or if not that, there is probably some device that could be helpful. Although given magic's existance, it does sometimes feel like a 'what do you get someone who has everything' dilemma.

She smiles softly. "You don't have to-, well, okay, coming from me that probably doesn't work, and you won't accept a bypass like kisses and the rest. Well, I actually don't have an easy way to produce precise amounts of electricity, I can blast off in big booms, but I've never really practiced that kind of fine control on electricity specifically, and looking around here, it always marvels me how you guys substituted nearly all magic with it. You know, if you had any books on how you do any of that, I would love to dive into those! Also radiation, it sounds very similar but very distinct from mana radiation, and also just all the stuff you guys know about scoping in on the small world, you guys have this whole bacteria and virus stuff under microscopes, and the atoms and molecule diagrams, all that stuff!"

That dilemma's obvious answer had always been head, even more so with Zinnya, though in her case a library access card might also happen to work.

"Waaaait, Franchesca? You don't look like a Franchesca, isn't that not even a name here?"

The woman turned to the witch in confusion, unsure where the question had even come from. Its not as if she had told her such a thing....so how would she know?? Had she left her journal out? Had the Raven stolen a page?!

'It's...not a name I use...nor did I chose it...' She clearly looked a little uncomfortable, compiling her words.

'It's....more symbolic, or that's how it was told to me. 'Hart' was my father's contribution....and Francesca was my mother's....Sky was the name they both agreed on....apparently.'

She glanced to the side, a hang going to the back of her neck.

'...It probably should have been left in the past...but to forget a part of my mother? That would be foolish, in every sense of the word.'

"Oooh, so it's like your second family name! Okay, that makes sense." That acceptance came as fast as the question, exceeeept she couldn't shut up. "I just mean, it's a person name where I last heard it, and that's also waaaaay over on another continent, not even on the shores either. Or well, I mean, they have their shores too, just not like, here-facing. A-anyway, it's fine, if you don't use it like that, I won't either, Sky is shorter anyway, and more fitting, and more cute."

No explanation on how she learned it, as none was requested. Clearly it didn't seem important enough.

"Uhm, why use your dad's name and not your mom's though, if you feel they are both important to you? I mean, sure Hart is waaay easier and shorter, buuut if you didn't leave it behind...?"
