//Time's up! To the nine who voted, here are the results and the explanations!

a kiss to distract them from stitching a wound.

Being in an Anti-Magic zone was always a taxing experience. One can feel the mana being shut off from access and in some cases, experience it being drained without one's own control. Habit made him careless, another reminder that he needs to train even harder without his magic, and thus he earned quite the gash. Thankfully, Valeria was with him on this mission and patching him up.

"...Thank you, Val... I got careless... I am fortunate you always bring along your herbs and mixtures to... T-To..." The needle that was taken out made the knight grow pale. Cheeks inflated just a bit while he couldn't stop staring at the massive (normal sized) needle. "...Um... Is that- !!" Seems like Valeria had planned for this and had cupped his cheeks and kissed him to distract from what she was about to do.

Luckily, her knight was a lovestruck pup and melted into it, allowing the skilled healer to do her work. By the time she pulled away, his eyes were already slightly unfocused and he was wearing that blush, but... his wound was stitched up, patched up, and now being bandaged. Blinking as he returned to reality, he looked at his arm and gave a tilt. "Huh... That was... very painless. Thank you again, Valeria."

She immediately was having second thoughts. Why did she voice a want? It wasn’t problematic, it wasn’t that normal to elope but it was quick, easy, simple. Not so stressed. She’s about to speak up when Rain turned around and scooped her up. Oh!

A soft laugh left her as arms slung around his neck. “Yes?” Rain seemed so.. eager suddenly, like a switch had been flipped. All negativity evaporated once their son was brought up. “Let’s get our son!”

Mikoto tried to stay focused and in the moment but her mind was far too active. Thoughts whirled endlessly within, and she’s only brought back to reality for a few moments when Rain gave much needed attention to her. Appreciated.

The worker gave a short ceremony. The ravenette rattled off some vows off the top of her head, but very heart felt, however sappy and cliche they were. The bracelets were presented and given to each other and within half hour, the two of them were wed.

She.. didn’t believe it. Her head still swam but she kept looking back to the bracelet now on her wrist. With a kiss to her now husband, she gently took Leo from him to smother the infant in many kisses.

Rainald was staring at the bracelet before looking over to Mikoto. It truly happened... he's found himself a wife and even has a child with her. Something that seemed impossible or at the very least, so very far away... was now the present for him. The environment around his wife and child seemed to just... fade... leaving only the two of them in his sight as he smiled.

Moving over to close the little gap between them, Rainald would embrace both Mikoto and Leo, careful not the squish the baby while he held the two. "My wife and my son... two guiding lights in my life... For you both... I shall strive to do better and be better... This I swear."

He would likely work on a proper set of vows for the both of them during their real ceremony on his home world... but just for now, just for this moment in time... this little promise was enough.

"Of course~. Not every day a man like me gets to boast and be blessed with such a lovely elf as their girlfriend~. Kind hearted, wonderful, beautiful, and a few other compliments that I will reserve for later~" A large grin was worn while he leans up still, blue eyes filled with admiration and affection for her.

"Personally... I prefer Praise and a little Dominance, but that is me..." There was a pause. "Did... Did I just admit that I have a praise kink and enjoy being dommed out loud?" A few blinks before sinking into his hammock. "I might have gotten too relaxed..." Murmuring while raising his book up to his face.

There was a lot going on right now... too much in fact. The knight would listen to make sure his assistance was not needed before opening his portal to retreat to his second home. Right to the hammock he went, a book under his arm, relaxing garb on, and even a small container with a soothing drink inside. Up into relaxation's arms he went.

Mikoto held a product of her impulse buy. A bag of popcorn but the flavor had caught her eye. Honey lavender popped corn. She’d already taken a few handfuls and she wasn’t sure if she liked the flavor or not. Lavender was a good one, top tier for sure, but for this type of snack? She wasn’t sure.

So she trotted over to Rain and held the open bag to him. “Try it. Tell me if you like it or not because both my mind and mouth are confused.”

Her heart melted at the little display, a goofy smile on her lips. Rain always had such good potential for a father, and watching these sweet moments only doubled her thoughts. Leo was happy, and extremely loved. She’s so into the moment she hardly heard what he said. “Huh? Uh.. some people just like making things more unique? Stand out among the rest?” She offered with a shrug.

Mickey set the opened bag of popcorn down and trotted to get the bag of various foods, to come back. She settled in beside the duo. She took out a decent sized box and opened it. “Suppose this isn’t too weird but it was different. It’s uh.. crystal candy.”

Watching her sit next to him, a smile would be given before leaning in to nuzzle her cheek. Leo was doing small kickies while still playing with his father's fingers before Mikoto showed off the other treats. "Hmmm.. Crystal Candy huh? I think we had similar on my home... I would be willing to try it, though, I must ask first... Is it a Lick until Gone or a Lick and Bite? I uh... have a bad track record with such snacks, so I figure I ask now before I hurt my teeth... or look silly." Leo made a noise cause Rain to give him all his attention again, chuckling as he would doing a little song and movement with Leo.

Oh! Mentally. Of course. How silly to think otherwise. Amusement quickly flickered over her features at the “freedom” comment. Little Leo to the rescue. She chuckled. Mikoto took the bag back of popcorn and after a few moments of hesitation, she popped a few more pieces into her mouth. She chewed slowly. Hm. Still undecided.

”Honey and lavender do work together. They’re complimentary though I suppose lavender is a tad strong for a floral flavor. I got it in a stall at the market. It looked interesting.” Never mind an impulse boy. It was unique, how could she not try? “I did get other things if you want to take a look or try.”

Lifting up their baby boy and holding him up into the air, making faces before lowering him down to blow on his cheek. There was some squirming and tiny happy noises before Leo was pulled into an embrace while Rain turned back to Mikoto. "My question more in lies with, why add it to that snack? I understand it is a bit of an 'every flavor' type of one, but surely some lines have to be drawn!" Chuckling before blinking.

"Oh? You have others? Well... I do not think that it would be the worst to try more, just... keep an eye on me, please," Another smaller laugh before turning Leo around and putting the infant in his lap to hold. Rain put one finger into each of the little one's hands to lift them up and down. "Or maybe you will save papa again?"

Normally one would think to have a reservation rather than a walk in, but since the temple wasn’t so busy today, they’ll work them in. The worker set them inside the room and left to get prepared, and came back with some needed materials.

Mickey gently rocked their son and cooed softly to him, much to his delight. Holding Leo in one arm, her now free hand reached for Rain’s to hold as the worker began their little, intimate ceremony.

Rain would hold onto her own as well, rubbing the back of her hands with his thumb while smiling at her as they were truly about to elope. It was not like he was expecting anything nor did he have any expectations to begin with, but there was such joy in the simplicity as well. With just a few blessings, words shared, vows made... the two of them would be bonded.

Of course, from time to time, there were moments when the knight would dote upon his wife-to-be and their son.

"Rage baiting... why does that sound like something Belost does?" The knight muses to himself before he continues his writing.

Rain was currently reading with his foot lightly bouncing the device Leo was sitting in. An eyebrow was raised before leaning in to sniff at the bag, before giving a small head tilt. Reaching in to pull out a piece before giving it another sniff and then taking a bite.

The gears were turning... but not connecting. The smell was pleasing, so was the mouth feel, but the taste? What... what did he feel? Was this how lavender was supposed to taste? Was it bad? Why did it taste... purple? What does 'purple' even taste like. It took Leo babbling to save his father from whatever zone of confusion the snack had sent him. "Huh, wha?..." Rain then blinked, looked at Mikoto, then Leo, then stared forward. "...Where did I go just now?"

Regular popcorn was fine, with or without added flavoring. Kernal corn. Caramel corn. What have you. Even honey alone would have been fine, which she could taste. But adding lavender? Certainly a unique flavor. It wasn’t bad, least to her. She just couldn’t decide if she liked it or not! And that was frustrating!

Mikoto watched him closely, and noticed every little reaction. Eyes flicker down to Leo when he made some noise, then back at her husbands face. “Uh… you went somewhere? I don’t know. I enjoy lavander, especially in drinks, but I’m…confused,” she told him slowly. “Are you.. okay?”

The infant made some more noises, causing Rain to shake his head chuckling before reaching over to lift up the baby and hold him. Attention then returning to Mikoto. "It was more... mental, than physical, love. A trip of the mind, so to speak. As for your question... I am fairly certain I am alright, physically. I think... having that snack may have caused me to think so much and so fast that my mind just kind of... crashed? Leo seemed to notice... or just wanted attention, and he seemed to help me snap out of it. Though it would appear it was for his freedom, heh heh."

Cradling Leo, Rain would lean back against the cushions. "Where did you get this... hm... I do not wish to be rude, but I also am of the belief that I cannot categorize that as a 'snack'... Regardless, where did you get it? Who or what being decided to release this into the general populace?"

”A nearby river?” That caught her attention. She glanced over at him with a small smile. That sounded nice. She didn’t mind water when it wasn’t a large body of water. “So is that where you’ve decided, hm? I think some fresh air would do all of us some good.”

Her smile widened at the little interaction between husband and son. How sweet. Soon they reached the temple. It wasn’t too busy, which was good for them. Mickey approached one of the workers of the temple and after a few minutes, she gestured Rain inside to head into a side room.

Following his wife-to-be, son, and the worker, the knight was eagerly awaiting what was to come. It would have been nice if Leo could've been the little ring... or in this case, bracelet bearer, but maybe for the official ceremony he could be tasked with holding the rings! Oh! Maybe they could even get one of Mikoto's boys from the previous fathers to help as well!

He was giddy and thus knew he had to temper himself lest he do something quite embarrassing or say something strange. Right now, he was to be wed to Mikoto and the three of them were off to celebrate right after.
