If you need a little extra, the prompts link above (though I will be changing how I tag the responses to them now XD) might help with any interactions if you'd just like to throw something at him.
Below is the NSFW Blog and the prompts for that as well. They are separate as I know not everyone enjoys seeing such. If you wish interactions there are fine as well.

Hands were now slowly reaching towards Rain, going for his ankles as his weapon was starting to dent. There was no damage on the wall he was battering... his own palms were starting to grow red as the panic was starting to weigh on him more. Isolation was one thing, but being physically accosted by his own failings, by the things that were haunting him... He knew what little strands of sanity left would snap and render the knight unable to act.
Then... the worst possible sound for him. -SNAP-
The top portion of his staff clattered to the ground besides him, head slowly turning towards the broken piece of metal while eyes began shaking. The only thing he could trust in this place, the only thing that brought comfort, was now broken. Breathing got heavier and heavier until both shoulders were grabbed. 'Hi Rain~' That voice... her voice... expression went a deep pale as eyes shut closed so tight. "It's not real... 'S not real... 'S not, 's not, s' not...." Repeating over and over as if chanting such would grant some form of protection.
Then, ankles were grabbed, waist gripped, arms slowly being forced down.
Was... was this the end? Is this how the knight meets his end? No battle, no old age, not even sacrificing himself for something greater? Just... a pitiful, miserable, horrid death in some backwoods cave to the nightmares of his past? It... it's not fair... it's not... But he can't fight back... and his last lifeline was now snapped in two... No one was coming for him, no one was going to save him, perhaps... perhaps... he could at least ruin this being's fun by accepting the end... One last act of defiance just to give some swallow comfort...
"DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP, RAIN!" That shout caused the knight's eyes to open wide before hearing what sounded like shattering. In the distance, there it was... the light he'd been praying would finally show up. A hand was outstretched, reaching for him. With whatever strength he had left within him, the broken staff was used to start helping pull him out of the grip of the things that had him. The owner of that voice... the one ally he had... it was Shima.
It would be unlikely that the half-dragon can maintain this for long. He had to fight if he wanted to make it towards his friend. Fight wild, like an animal, just... fight... Fight... "FIGHT IT RAIN!"
Inhaling and letting out a desperate shout to embolden himself, a step was taken. Hands were scratching, clawing at the ones on him, mouth was used to bite the ones on his shoulders, broken staff jabbed into the begins behind him. Don't look back, move forward. Grasp onto that bit of hope that Shima gave. Fight.
Then... he was freed... but only for seconds. Seconds that he would use to rush towards his friend, hand outstretched as well. A stumble, nearly tripping, the hole starting to close. His weapon falling from his hand. Then...
Grab.
Pull.
Freedom...
Shima had pulled Rain from that world, causing the knight to fall to the ground onto his knees. Looking around for a moment, lifting his hands up as if doubting this was true. Though the moment the half-dragon went around and put his hands on his shoulders... he knew it... he was free. Tears threatened to swell while he looked up at his friend, face twisting in a mix of emotions. The dragon knew the importance of keeping the knight sane... Rain was embraced. "It's alright... It's alright... You're safe now. C'mon..." In that moment, tears shed and the man held the other tight while still shaking. Shima could only imagine what kind of torture he went through considering Zephyr choose to freeze everything over dealing with something similar.
It would take a few minutes, but after Rain had calmed down, both would explain what happened on their ends.
The knowledge that everything had to be expiated due to complications... was rough on the still reeling knight. Even worse, his weapon was no long available to him, trapped within that dimension...
The options before the two were few... Wait for Shuron and try to arm themselves as best they could, just try and tackle things themselves, or risk looking for others who could help. "...If Levonive is frozen... and Shuron didn't get the brothers... then... it is very likely we are on our own." Looking back at the cave and frowning. "...We can not risk it, Shima. Once Shuron is back... we have to arm ourselves and charge in. Maybe... Maybe we get lucky and-" "We aren't..." A door appeared and from it, Shuron exited with a frown.
Before Rain could speak, the guildmaster went up to him and embraced the knight. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry I didn't get you sooner..." "H... How did..." "I have my ways to keep tabs on things... We don't have a lot of time left before He has taken notice. So you two come with me. We can discuss everything once this threat is over." There was a nod given as soon as Shuron pulled away... however... "Shuron." The other male looked as Shima entered the door. "...I forgive you."
A pause before a slight smile as the knight stepped through and the guildmaster followed behind.
Mikoto was alone in the Earth Kingdom by herself. It had been rather difficult leaving the safety of the palace in the Fire Nation, but it had been time. She’d been told she was the Avatar, and she needed to learn the other three elements. Hence why she’s currently in the Kingdom.
She was in the market area. She hated being alone but at the same time, e joyed her freedom. It would be better with friends but.. she didn’t have any. She was inspecting some weapons at a stall, a bit too intently as she didn’t realize anyone was behind her. The staff she’d been holding nearly smacked someone in the head!
The princess noticed and turned around. “Oh! I-I’m sorry -“
”Spear techniques… that would be rather handy.” She mused in agreement as she rubbed her chin. “I think they’re as common as the sword is, so it would be best to be rather adequate in both of them.” A nod to herself. She didn’t notice anything between the two men. She smiled at the both of them. “I would appreciate that, thank you Shuron. My hand to hand is a bit lacking, I will admit. My training was more focused on bending first, then weapons, and combat was more so… an after thought.” Though she did have an interesting take on hand to hand. That she won’t showcase just yet.
She looked between the two of them and stood in the middle of the room to allow herself plenty of space. Then she began. At first a bit slow as she performed technique after technique, her body moving rather fluidly and gracefully. There was a mixture of both fire and lighting that lit up the room, and at some point towards the end of the showcase, she added water into the mix. It wasn’t as graceful as fire had been though, and she knew it.
finally, she stilled, back in the middle of the room. The water back into its jug she’d brought as an emergency.
Shuron and Rainald would both watch the display. Their expressions now serious and taking in what she had done to the fullest. Upon the end of her display, the earth bender would walk over to her and lean in. "Hmmm... You have good posture, an excellent stance, and from what I saw, wonderful mastery over Fire and Lightning. Your water is very poor, but that is to be expected, but seeing that you have one of the fundamentals... understood... it would make your journey to learn it easier." Leaning back and adjusting his glasses.
"That said... You are too loose with your movements, too flashy as well. Practice bending with smaller movements and try for bigger results. For example," With a quick shift and a stomp, a small box of earth sprouted up. A slide of his foot and it was lowered back into the ground of the dojo. "Some of the fire benders I have fought alongside were able to bring out great flames with smaller movements. Those who were not as skilled took risks and were often stopped mid-attack because their foes were quicker or knew how to pause those movements. A missed step, a wrong landing, even something as small as angling your foot the wrong way can reduce all your practice and training to nothing because the result shifted ever so slightly." Looking back to Rainald. "I'm sure he could tell too, a number of spots if he were fighting you, where he could disable or disarm you before pinning you to the floor." A pause.
"That said... we are not standard foes nor the standard in general. What you have right now exceeds the standard... If I were to liken it to something... You are like a clay structure in progress. There is much refined already and details that make you noteworthy, but there is still room left to grow and add more. From what I have seen, I wish to be the one who teaches you Earth Bending, or, to keep it to the analogy, I would like to help shape you into an even more splendid form. Will you accept me as your teacher?"

Mikoto blinked up at Shuron. Ah, show him everything she knew? Her knowledge and techniques were extensive; she was a master at fire. It was her home element, of course, so she’d have the most time with it, the most influential. She even mastered lightning! Casting and redirecting it. She didn’t say that out loud of course, she wasn’t one to boast. She tries to remain humble.
It would be an interesting take to see how an earth bender would view her form. Tips and tricks always were welcome; she wanted to be the best she possibly could be, for any situation.
Miko was about to begin when Rain’s comment caught her off guard. She glanced over at him in confusion. “Show off more to you..? If I showcase my abilities right now, what else could I show you tonight?” She asked, rather innocently. Rain wasn’t a bender. Or did he mean weapon wise? Ah, that must be it! “Oh! You mean show off my weaponry skills, yes? As I’ve mentioned before, I am rather adept at the sword! Some spears, and I’ve even used fans before,” she told him with a hint of proudness in her voice.
Shuron was about to scold her... but the response threw him off. Blinking for a moment before covering his mouth and trying not to laugh as Rain couldn't help but let out a sigh before chuckling as well. Both of them had the same thought crossing their mind 'She's quite innocent'. Clearing his throat, the earth bender would try and regain control... before throwing a little bit of teasing as well. "Look, you two can talk about 'spear techniques' all you want AFTER your demonstrate your power."
That actually managed to make Rain blush a bit as he looks away while sitting in the chair. "Okay, Mikoto. Whenever you are ready, you can begin your bending. Do not worry about the building nor the two of us. This is all about just showing me what you know and seeing how much you will need to shift in order to start on Earth Bending." A pause while looking back at Rain. "If you would like... you can also use this place to spar with Rain as well and gain a better mastery over weapons as well as hand-to-hand combat. You never know when a day will come when you can't bend and your weapons are taken away from you, so this will be the best chance of keeping you safe. After all, while times are peaceful now, we may never know when we need the avatar to travel and put her life on the line."

The princess noticed and turned around. “Oh! I-I’m sorry -“
She blinked owlishly at Shuron. He repeated three twice? She hadn’t noticed it, she was more focused on the rules themselves. Mikoto remained sheepish. Her second failure and she hadn’t even realised it! This was not good for her track record at all…!
“No, I don’t have a place to stay. I only arrived last night,” the princess answered quietly. She looked at the clothing again. If she wore that, she would definitely blend in better, not that she minded standing out with her attire. She’s about to comment further when Rain lifted his shirt and - oh, she’s staring. Her face flushed completely and covered her mouth as she averted her eyes. He did look rather nice, and that image surely would be engrained in her mind. Thanks Rain.
With that she quickly took the offered clothing and hurried off to go change, and to get over her embarrassment. A few minutes later she came back in the student attire, patting herself down. She didn’t mind green or brown but kt didn’t suit her at all.
Shuron let out a small hum while Rain was recovering and watched Mikoto go off to change. With several rough and yet fluid motions, the wanderer was sent into a near-by chair via-earth bending. "Ah... Ya know, just cause it was the earth that moved me, it doesn't mean I wasn't manhandled by ya." "Oh I know. Just needed you out the way." Staring towards the room she walked into.
"So, the Avatar and the Princess of the Fire Nation. You bring some real dangerous people to my dojo, Rain." "Ooooh... ah... Yeah, I know. I should also be more impressed and surprised but..." "No no. We react the same. What your titles are do not determine your worth. We both know that..." There was a moment of silence between them before Mikoto returned. "Alright. First things first. I need you to show me how much bending, of any type, you know. While I cannot use Fire, I may surprise you with some knowledge and help you improve your form."
"Show off your stuff to Shuron, Miko! Then maybe ya can show off more to me, tonight~!" Shuron shot a glare to Rain before letting out another deep sigh. "I swear..."

The princess did flinch at the initial sound of the crash, and she was curious to investigate but she didn’t. Instead she remained rooted where she was, and returned her full attention onto Shuton, who she regarded sheepishly.
“Ahh…sorry.” She wasn’t the best with interacting with people, at least with strangers. “I’m.. princess Mikoto from the Fire Nation, and um.. the avatar,” she added, still sheepish. “You have a good grace period but don’t be late or miss your lessons, five times you’re done, if you’re wrong say something, and if you don’t understand, say something.” That was all of them right? She hoped so.
She blinked when Rain returned. “I… have to change my clothing?” She hadn’t expected that but she’s never had a teacher before. She looked between the two men. Loose clothing too… she looked down at herself then back up.
Rainald chuckled a bit as Shuron pinched the bridge of his nose and looks up towards the ceiling. "Yes, you have to change. Also, clearly she's more... pure hearted than most of your other students. I think you'd rather that than some of them smug ones, ya?" The earth bender shook his head. "The numbering, Mikoto... I repeated the number Three for rule four. This is your second failure... Though as Rain said, it could be a more... innocent sense than just lacking knowledge. As the avatar and a princess, I thought you would've picked up on it."
"She's new to these lands, give her some time to adapt, after all she'll likely be a live-in student." "Oh?" Shuron turned to Mikoto. "Don't have a place to stay? If you pass the Student Trial, you are welcome to a room here. In fact," Pointing towards the room near the back of the dojo. "Go ahead and give it a glance around while changing."
Rain then chimed in. "He doesn't charge you for staying, just asks that you respect the five following house rules as well. Granted, your trial will be much different than mine... I think I still have a pillar-shaped bruise on my abdomen." Lifting his shirt and showing off a bit of his definition. There was no bruise... but an earthen pillar was sent into the spot causing Rain to curl over in 'pain'. "Stop showing off and trying to seduce the princess with your body."

Battle brothers. That was a good term for it. Miko wore an amused smile as she listened to the two of them, and then watched Rain as he left the room. Then she focused on Shuron. Up close she could memorise his face in her mind a lot easier, and with the introduction, she figured she understood him a bit.
“..yes. I understand you,” she answered him with a firm nod. “I’ll abide to your rules best as I can. I’ve never tried to earthbend before,” the princess admitted to him, “but I know I need to learn it.” She didn’t bother much with an introduction of her own, not unless Shuron asked for one. “ - oh! A metal bender. So you truly must be skilled!” She added in, rather impressed by the claim. It wasn’t as well known as a sub type but it was still impressive nonetheless.
There was an audible sigh before he pinched the bridge of his nose. From the other room Rain could be heard "I told you it flies over people's heads when ya do that! They ain't gonna get it cause of your hardass routin- OH SHI-!" -CRASH!- Shuron glanced over to the room where the noise came from. "...Clean it up!" It took a few seconds before Rain replied "R-... Roger..." The bender's attention turned back to Mikoto.
"I am... not surprised the subtlities seemed to have been missed. The intent of that introduction was to; A. Test you, and B. Get you to introduce yourself. It is good to respond to me in a manner, but you did fail test number one. Introduce yourself and after that, try to recall what I said." It was another test, not a second chance. It seems like he was going to be an odd teacher. Rain finally returned with an outfit similar to Shuron and some loose clothes hanging off of him. "You don't have to take off your top fully, but Shuron only allows full modifications of the uniform to those who pass five tests."

”I’m sure they would, especially if they recognize me.” Which she still wasn’t sure was a good idea or not. The fire nation didn’t entirely have the best rep out of the four nations, let alone housing the current avatar: her.
Eyes flicker to the offered arm, and she smiled. She wrapped both arms around his as she followed after him into the marketplace. Ah, she knew where they were going right away. The building was a bit different than others. She wouldn’t have suspected this to be a dojo but she’s rather glad to be at it. “What is he like?” She questioned quietly, craning her head to try and get a glance at the mystery friend.
The idea of having to explain his friend was... hard. Pausing for a moment as he pondered what to say, the man in question was approaching the two of them, carrying someone by the scruff and waist. "Pardon" the request came as Rain noticed and sighed. Pulling Mikoto out of the way. "This should be a good example of his personality type..." As those words left his lips Shuron had tossed the person into the building across from them before dusting off his hands.
"Oh Rain, it's you... I see your flirting had finally paid off." An eye roll was given. "Har har, very funny. What did this one do to upset you, oh so prickly one?" "Careful there Highwater, I can still put you in a timeout box if I want." "Yea yea, listen. The cutie here is someone who wants to learn Earth Bending. Surely with that being your eighth student thrown out, you have the space for her, right?" The other male finally approached and was in good view. About as tall as Rain, but much shorter black hair, blue eyes hidden behind glasses, attire a cross between a gi and standard soldier uniform. Shuron leaned in, holding his chin while inspecting her. "Hmmm... Alright, bring her in." Before either of the two could respond, the earth bender already went back into his school causing another sigh from the wanderer and a shake of his head. "Welp, you heard him, let's go in."
She blinked slowly as Shuron appeared, kicking out someone. She glanced between the discarded student then back at the duo. Huh. He didn’t seem too remarkable, aside from the glasses. But appearances often were misleading. His personality… was something. “..eighth student?” Wow. How many had he kicked out altogether or just the eight? How strict was he? Guess it’s time to find out.
Mikoto glanced at Rain. Not all that reassured she headed inside the dojo. She hadn’t ever tried earthbending at all, the only thing she’s ever done outside of fire bending was water, funnily enough. It was.. disastrous. Completely accidental. It’s always had been water, which she accounted for “accidents” because surely she hadn’t been the avatar. And yet.. it did make sense.
"We're battle brothers. Fought off a horde of bandits together about... two or three years ago and have been friends since. I joke it's because I'm the only one who can stand him, he jokes that it's because I get lonely when my flirting fails." A shrug and chuckle. "I'm your friend because I'm your friend, nothing else to it. Now, you wish to learn Earth Bending right? Rain, go fetch the training outfit for me while I explain the rules." "Gotcha," The wanderer departed further in while Shuron walked up to Mikoto.
"First off, I am Shuron Bluescale, master of this dojo, only Earth and Metal bender in this town, and five star rated chef. I am 25, with 20 years of earth bending, 10 years of metal bending, and 10 years of teaching under my belt. I have fought several battles using just my earth bending and I believe I qualify as a teacher who should be listened to. That said, everyone is different and thus my rules are very basic. One, do not question me when I give a command. Two, if I am wrong, correct me. Three, if I have to issue the same command five times, you're out. Three, if you cannot follow my orders or lessons, tell me. Finally, five, do not be late to my lessons. I believe I give a fair amount of time to everyone as well as grace-periods. If you cannot manage to make it to a class, next class come in with a proper excuse and you will be fine. Are we understood?"

”The marketplace?” An eyebrow arched at that. At the explanation, she slowly nodded. Ah.. she could understand the reasoning. Food always drew people in, for one reason or another. Smart. “So it’s like flies to honey..” She mused as she tapped her chin in thought.
“Alright, my newly acquired companion, show me this friend of yours, won’t you? Sooner I start training, the better.” If Shuron indeed was a good earth bender, she’ll only need to track down two more benders to teach her. She’s off to a wonderful start.
There was a small blink at the 'honey comment' but the moment she agreed, the wanderer would offer her his arm. "Alright, stay close there, beautiful. I know a lotta folks who'd love to catch your attention, and I'm not the most keen on sharing my companions~" Another wink while chuckling. Was he really being possessive of her already or was he just trying to tease her even more? With Rain, such was hard to tell, but considering that smile on his face, it was likely the latter.
If she grabbed his arm, or even if she didn't, he would start to guide her towards Shuron's dojo. It was not that far into the marketplace and building was very easily spotted amongst some of the shops.

”A forbidden romance…” Mikoto echoed. She eyed him then covered her mouth to hide a giggle. Of course she never read those types of stories, she never had time to, or wasn’t really allowed to, rather. But she’d heard of it. Forbidden romance.. perhaps this was would it could be. Royals generally married other royals, it’s how it always went. But that was later! Don’t think about that!
Her head tilted. Rain knew of someone who could teach her? She probably should have stuck in “the order” of the elements, if she went with earth, it would technically be backwards. Air wouldn’t be so easily found, she’s certain. “He will teach me, you’re certain on that?” Miko echoed. “Where is he?”
'She truly is really cute... just the words 'forbidden romance' and she's already giggling. Though the truth is that such might not be the case... Ah but, I need to keep some secrets, have to have an air of mystery after all~' Chuckling while his train of thought ended when she questioned him on his friend. A nod was given in response before he would do better to fill her in.
"Shuron loves teaching others and is even more happy when he gets someone brand new. Something about 'Understanding his masters' and 'the spark in his students eyes when they get it'. Course, I can't bend so the most we ever did was spar... still a bit bruised from our most recent one actually," A light pat of his own back before cracking his neck. "As for the location of the man, it's in the Marketplace section. Apparently his masters said 'If you don't have a place of learning near food, no one's gonna come' so he fought tooth and nail to get his facility near some very nice eateries."

She was inspecting some weapons at a stall, a bit too intently as she didn’t realize anyone was behind her. The staff she’d been holding nearly smacked someone in the head!
The princess noticed and turned around. “Oh! I-I’m sorry -“
It was flattery just left and right! It was a bit overwhelming, her cheeks promptly flushed. Such attention! Yes she always had constant eyes on her at home, but out in the open like this, in another nation altogether! Well..
“Do you charm every girl you see? Or am I just the exception?” She questioned. Now she was flattered yes but was this how Rain always acted or just when around her? Maybe she’s thinking too much into it. But she already asked, and he accepted. It would be rude to take that back, now wouldn’t it.
“Well this makes you the first honorary member of, ah.. team avatar!”
"Heh, not every one I see. I fear I might end up in a ditch by some who wouldn't take too kindly to such. While I'll be friendly and even a lil forward, for you... I must admit you check a few of my boxes~" A wink was given before a chuckle followed. He could be very flirty, yes, but it was also true that he was taking it a bit further with Mikoto. He was entirely honest when he commented on how she 'checked a few boxes'.
"Ha ha! The first huh? I certainly do hope any more that we add are fine with a chatterbox who likes to deal out compliments a plenty~. Though most would likely be going to you, cutie." Okay, he's pushing it now. Though the idea of journeying with the avatar would be good. If it turns out this was the truth and she wasn't just a runaway princess looking for freedom... he might be in for quite a treat. Not to mention he would get to compare how well his martial prowess compares to bending.
”I can name a few off the top of my head, but I would be careful around me. You never know who might hear and what they’d do.” Especially if word got out to her father. As protective as he was, he couldn’t do too much when they’re so far away. A bit of freedom but she wasn’t use to being so.. independant. Avatar or not. She was just told about being one! She didn’t have that much life experience, much less social cues..
Ah, he’s flirting still! She’s afraid she may combust if it continued. Her heart raced and she gripped her newly purchased sword tightly on her grasp. “I was hoping to find an earth bending teacher here. Anyone really. Do you happen to know of one, or am I still back at square one? Or.. I suppose I’m at two, since I have you now.”
"The added danger makes it all the more tempting~. Besides, who doesn't love a good 'forbidden romance' tale? Ah... I guess starring in it might be a little problematic... but you are definitely charming enough to be the leading lady of such a story~" Grinning before covering his mouth to laugh a little more. Teasing her was going to be a lot of fun.
Oh and way she was clutching her purchase was adorable. Perhaps he'll ease off the trigger for now... until supper at least. When she made mention of looking for a teacher, he would nod. "Ah, i actually do know someone... he's a bit prickly, and I'm not sure if he'll travel with us, but while you're here he will definitely teach you. His name is Shuron. He often let's me use his place of teaching for weapon's practice."
