I am so happy, it exceeded all of my expectation. This is so much more than anything I could have imagined. Thank you so much. I wanted to wait, but it could totally go with the last chapter and I just can’t wait!

Blackfyre, Valyrian Sword of Jon Snow as read in the fanfiction The Ghost by GreedofRage/WrathofAvarice. It is Theorized that Aegor kept the sword in his possession until his dying day and the sword remained the property of the Golden Company. Rather than Sell the blade or return it, the men loyal to Aegor and house Blackfyre kept it in hopes of one day giving the blade to the one who would lead them to reclaim their place in Westeros. In the Ghost, the blade was seized by Myles “Blackheart” Toyne and the hilt redone to match his House’s sigil. He fell in battle and a young Jon Snow, an exile after being resurrected after his murder, found the blade and took it as his. Together with his brother in arms and his mentor, Jon Snow traveled to Tolos and paid a smith to give the sword a new hilt and had it made to resemble the sword of his mentor and friend, Baelgor Aekylosh. Once it was discovered that Jon could use Valyrian magic of Conjuring fire like Baelgor, he trained and learned to set hiss word’s blade aflame with black flames that cast shadow instead of light!

This was number three in the designs I’ve done. I now understand why concept artist do so many designs, or at least half understand. One design isn’t enough, you want to do more and try more with what you have to work with. This has become my favorite of the three I have done. Some of the inspiration came from Zar’roc, the sword of Morzan, Brom, Eragon, and Murtagh from the Eragon book series, the movie version.

Margaery gave a dismissive wave. “I wouldn’t concern myself with what the capital deems appropriate or not, my princess. I can assure you in a year’s time we will see such dresses all over King’s Landing.” The smile she offered Daenerys was one of genuine admiration.

“Wouldn’t you agree, my prince?” The lady looked expectantly at him. Robb nodded smugly, surely already imagining his betrothed in such a dress.

Jon pulled on the laces of his tunic, the heat of the sun combined with his not-so-innocent thoughts making him feel like his entire body was on fire. “I—I don’t care much for clothes,” he fumbled. “The North doesn’t worry itself with such shallow concerns.” At Margaery’s raised eyebrow, he realised his poor choice of words.

Daenerys scoffed next to him. “You do wear clothes there, do you not?”

Sweat beaded on his forehead under her gaze. Somehow, she was even more comely in the daylight, her eyes shimmering like gems in the sun.

Mercifully, Robb intervened. “Perhaps we wear too much clothing,” he chuckled, kicking Jon’s foot under the table. If Lady Margaery’s smirk was any indication, she agreed. Jon rolled his eyes and looked away, resentful at how easy it was for his cousin to speak to his betrothed.

Once again @dragonanddirewolf​ knocks it out of the park with the best art anyone could ever hope for!  I commissioned two pieces for ice is hot too, including one from a drabble I wrote.  

I’ll let you wonder what goes on in the drabble for Jon to end up like how he does.  Look at those briefs!  Dany approves.

Her eyes suddenly snapped open.

Jon immediately looked away, trying his best to seem as though he hadn’t just been caught staring like a total creep. Though he’d lost all track of whether or not his stop was next, he stood and walked toward the exit.

As the train ground to a halt, he took one last look at the blonde. She didn’t appear unsettled at all. In fact, she was smiling.

Panicked, Jon turned and walked straight off the subway.

Managing to make it only a few steps before he heard the doors chime again, Jon spun to see the blonde stepping off of the train and walking straight towards him. His heart began to pound as she approached, eyeing him much like he had eyed her mere moments ago.

“You live around here?”

He could only blink in surprise. It sounded an awful lot like a proposition. After a moment, he finally managed to reply. “Aye... But my roommate will be back in about two hours.”

“You can do a lot in two hours,” she said, her tone so suggestive that it made Jon wonder whether it was all a trick of his mind. Gods, I don’t even know her name.

Dear @tomakeitbeautifultolive, some time ago you and I pitched the idea of “what if an older Jon met with soft Dany from the pilot, reassuring her?” and you ran away with it, saying that one day you’d do something about it. Imagine my surprise when you finally posted the story, that I consider a masterpiece, and truly one of the greatest works of this fandom. You managed to turn the idea into a soft, realistic and sensual fic that made me and everyone cry at how perfect it turned out to be. 

I’ve commissioned @dragonanddirewolf to create a piece based on your story, to show my gratitude and appreciation towards what you’ve accomplished to do with the prompt. I’m blown away with what Martha came up with, the softness, mood and colors of the art perfectly fitting with your work. I hope you love it as much as I do ❤︎ Thank you!
