Kpop Demon Hunters is really good. The animation is stunning and the last 20 minutes had my jaw on the floor. I think this movie deserved a box office release. It’s spectacularly done.
Watched Wendell and Wild tonight. It’s a great feat of animation and style, a fun story, though I feel it was paced so fast that many elements weren’t expanded on as much as they could have been. Many plot points all converging, some with very little tome spent on them beforehand.
Still, a good movie overall. I like the themes and overall look of it.
Rose of Versailles is yuribaiting yaoi but it’s beautiful and a nice story and kind of trans so I’m not the mad.
ARE YOU INSANE?
probably.

DRILLING INTO MY MAN’S HEAD WHILE HE’S AWAKE??? IN FRONT OF MY SAMDWICH?????
Okay the writing for Harvey Dent is... not the best in regards to multiplicity. The treatment method shown is very stereotypical of what people think therapists/psychiatrists are. His alter is a clear indicator of the "evil alter" trope. (I will be calling him an alter, because the therapist/psychiatrist uses "other personality" in the show to refer to him.) Also, the burn/chemical scars resulting in such a fictionalized appearance is just something I have to mention.
The way the world treats him for it is worse and provides reason for him repressing it. It's something I can relate to. Demonization of mental illness is something that occurs in the real world, and it absolutely would be a "scandal" irl if a high-standing government official was revealed to have it. It's also shitty as hell for that to be done through leaking his medical records. Also! The doctors being in fear of his burn scars! What the hell??? That's your patient!!!
If I didn't hate Thorne and his doctors before, I absolutely hate them now.
It would be interesting to view this through the lens of modern knowledge of plurality. For example, his alter may be seen as more of a prosecutor and emotion holder, specifically for anger. Despite his noted disdain for Harvey, he has their survival as his goal. He sabotages Harvey's events and relationships because he does not see the importance in them and does not know how to healthily get the anger out.
